This is our first time in Xi'an and already the street food here is INCREDIBLE! Xi'an street food is predominately muslim Chinese food! We taste spicy and mouth-numbing Chinese food such as beef pancakes, thick beef soup and more halal street food!
Besides eating in Xi'an there is lots of attractions including the Old City Wall of Xi'an, China which we visit in this video! The food here in Northern China is a lot different than what we are used to trying in Taiwan, we love all the bread and spices used in this unique and UNUSUAL Chinese food!

Kaohsiung's new mayor, Kuomintang's (KMT) Han Kyo-Yu, may not talk ideals. Perhaps you may think he's vulgar, talking about money every day. But to farmers, it is all that matters - whether we can make a living, says one Taiwanese farmer on this historic swing against the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in the November 2018 elections. Han has pledged a mainland China-friendly policy that would make it easier for local farmers to sell their produce abroad.
Meanwhile, the Kinmen islands - just 5km from Xiamen, but under Taipei's control - are booming from Chinese tourism. Kinmen people are very clear that it is not possible for Taiwan to be independent... Their relationship with the mainland would be foregone, says National Quemoy University don Chou Yang-Sun.

Our second place we visited in China was Xiàn, which included an interesting walk around the muslim quarters. We then visited Hua Shan Mountain, unfortunately the weather wasn`t on our side, but the views were fantastic all the same.

STRANGE Street Food in Jiufen, Taiwan (九份)! SUPER CHEWY Taiwanese Street Food tour + STINKY TOFU
STRANGE Street Food in Taiwan. We visit Jiufen 九份 a mountain village north of Taipei, Taiwan to sample some STRANGE and COLORFUL Taiwanese street foods! We witnessed chefs masterfully chopping taro balls with SUPER fast knife skills, sampled some STRANGE Taiwanese sausages, ate some ultra stinky tofu and more!
Jiufen is a short trip from Taipei city and is packed with some of the BEST street food in Taiwan! Everything we tried there was great including some Alishan Oolong tea at A-Mei teahouse made famous from Spirited Away the movie by Studio Ghibli!
The food here in Taiwan is mind-blowingly delicious! Especially the wide variety of street food available! Some times the best foods are found outside of Taipei city!

The Story of Taiwan Xi En
The story of how Taiwan Xi En (an orphanage, adoption agency, and crisis pregnancy center in Kaohsiung, Taiwan) got started up.
In December 2012, the Taiwanese government changed legislation for international adoption agencies. Money needs to be raised in order for TXE to be able to obtain a license to process adoptions. If you are interested in supporting this organization find out more at: project117.com

I'm not trying to be irreverent, but what's with the veneration of itsy-bitsy pieces of holy people? It is a piece of Lord Buddha's finger at Famen Temple near Xi'an and please tell me. What did they do? Chop this holy person into a gazillion pieces and distribute around the world? I just don't get it...
