Hi everyone,

So during my fourth weekend in China, I went to Kangding with the other interns - a small city (capital) located in the Ganzi Tibetan prefecture in Western Sichuan.

This trip has hands down been one of my most memorable ones. Kangding also definitely tops my list of 'most beautiful places I've visited'. The city is just filled with so much nature and beauty and I loved the fact that it's still very much untouched by tourism. Being able to experience Tibetan culture also added so much more to the experience (it also made up for me being unable to visit Tibet this time round haha).

往九龍路途藏族高樓民居 Go toward the Jiulong County (China)

塔公鎮 Tagong town (China)

塔公鎮位於中國四川省甘孜藏族自治州康定縣北部,是一個純牧業鄉.「塔公」一詞為藏語,意為菩薩喜歡的地方.境內有塔公寺以及塔公平原,美麗的山川,草原與寺廟構成了風景區.塔公寺是康區著名的藏傳佛教薩迦派寺廟,電影天下無賊曾在此取景.

新都橋鎮 Xinduqiao town (China)

新都橋(又叫東俄羅),海拔3300米左右,高原氣候,溫差較大,氣候多變,初次上高原的朋友可能有不同程度的高原反應.它是川藏線南北分叉路口,北通甘孜,南接理塘,是從西藏通往康定的必經之路.距離成都437公里,距離康定城80公里,途中要翻越海拔4298米的折多山,可遠眺蜀山之王 - 貢嘎山.

Kangding (Chinese: 康定), or Dartsedo (Tibetan: དར་རྩེ་མདོ།; Chinese: 打箭炉), is a county-level city and the seat of Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan province of Southwest China. Kangding's urban center is called Lucheng, which has around 100,000 inhabitants.
