The YMCA Theatre is a community theatre in North Yorkshire. It plays host to around 40 shows a year including our productions during the Summer, at Easter, at Christmas and a traditional family pantomime. It is staffed primarily by volunteers and does not receive any regular funding.

Deb took the boys for a weekend trip to Scarborough in 1998 to celebrate the end of her midwifery training. She went with two of her friends who had been on the course and their children. The boarding house they stayed in left a lot to be desired. The boys did all the filming

Double Delight: Winning Weekend For Scarborough Athletic & Scarborough RUFC
It was a big weekend of sport, as two of our local teams were both in action at home.
In football, Scarborough Athletic hosted Precott cables in the Evo-Stik North, whilst in rugby, Scarborough hosted Middlesborough in the Yorkshire One League.

West End Star Brings The Concept Of Rock Operas To Scarborough
A new performance combining rock-pop music and opera is coming to Scarborough for the first time in just over a week.
Duel, put together by local West End star Francesca Santamaria Lee, will be on stage at the YMCA on the 21st of April.
We caught up with the cast during one of their rehearsals to explore the concept behind their rock opera.

Work Will Be Done To Protect The Clock Café Cliff Collapse
A row of wooden chalets in Scarborough's South Bay are at risk of falling into the sea.
The retaining wall on which they stand near the Clock Café, has been damaged by water, causing a mini landslip.
Scarborough Borough Council have fenced the area off, with repair works being seen as a priority to avoid a repeat of the Holbeck Hall Hotel disaster.
