第61回焼津みなとまつり-Yaizu Minato Festival-
2015年4月12日（日曜日）、穏やかな日差しの下、焼津漁港内港などを会場に「焼津みなとまつり」が開催され、多くの人でにぎわいました。
会場では、水産加工品などを売る店が立ち並び、地場産品が当たる福引、歌やダンスの披露のほか、木造カツオ漁船八丁櫓（はっちょうろ）や高速ジェット船の体験乗船など、多彩なイベントが繰り広げられました。

We went to Horai Bridge the longest wooden footbridge in the world crossing the Oi River in Shimada, Shizuoka Japan. Afterward we went to Yaizu Fish Market to buy some fresh seafoods.

C17th Hachoro at Hobart wooden Boat Festival
Taketoshi and Ella aboard a replica 17th Century Japanese 'Hachoro' fishing boat from Yaizu, Shizuoka, Uncle Graeme and Rodney got to row as well, chanting Enyyyaaah! Soooooraaan!. When we got it moving along nicely, the Japanese uncle next to me said Soran power!
Hobart and Yaizu are sister cities, so hopefully they can come back again another year.

The port of Yaizu is very important fishing port for the fisheries in the region at the Pacific Ocean in Japan. So, there are some shipyards and engine builders. This engine was made by Hasegawa Ironworks in Yaizu for starting main engine of ships by compressed air.
This Engine is not my thing. I observed this engine at 2014 Asaka engine show.
