We went for Breakfast at Yallingup on 25th October and came across this surfing competition.

In January 2010 Howard Park & MadFish wines in Margaret River, Western Australia partnered up with Yallingup surf film festival in collaboration with SurfAid International.
Empowering communities across the world to foster better health and sustainable resilience.
SurfAid's mission is to improve the health, wellbeing and self-reliance of people living in the Mentawai and Nias islands, off Sumatra, Indonesia, where it runs health, disaster preparedness, and water and sanitation programs. The infant mortality rate (children under five) in the Mentawai Islands is 93 per 1,000 live births -- nearly one in 10. In Nias, the rate is 66 deaths per 1,000 births. In industrialized countries, on average, there are six deaths for every 1,000 live births.
SurfAid International's main goal is to empower the communities so as to foster health and resilience that is sustainable.
SurfAid also has a School Program, supported by Billabong, in Australia, New Zealnd and the USA which aims to develop global citizens using the humanitarian challenges and achievements of SurfAid as an example for action.

Injidup beach surf huge after cyclone coming down the coast
South West - WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Waves and Caves - Australia's South West
Just the usual; hitting some of the most beautiful spots that the South West of WA has to offer. Including Eagle Bay, Yallingup and Smiths Beach, Sugarloaf, Canal Rocks and Bunker Bay. Mixed in with some 4WD at Three Bears, reading and drinks looking over main break, some pretty poor attempts at surfing some serious froth at supertubes and even a few hours down below in Ngiligi cave. Really worth checking the footage out and of course a trip yourself. The water doesn't feel so cold when it looks that breathtaking!
