[Japan] Fukuoka - Yanagawa
As i was walking through shopping streets in Fukuoka, I ended up in Canal City Hakata mall where random J pop boysbands were peforming, then I went to Sumiyoshi shrine, Fukuoka castle ruins where you can get a great view of the city and finished my days by a walk (and a cake obviously) in Ohori park.
I took a daytrip to Yanagawa, nicknamed Japan's little Venice because of its many canals found all around town. I had steamed eel for lunch, a local specialty, and it was delicious! :)

「さげもんめぐり」福岡県柳川市／Yanagawa Fukuoka Japan [4K]
福岡県柳川市で行われている「さげもんめぐり」というお雛祭りを見に行きました。
各箇所のお雛様やさげもんなどを展示しておりとっても綺麗！さらにこの日は水上パレードも行われており賑やかでした。
地域のみなさんが協力してより良い催しにしようという雰囲気が所々で伝わってきて素晴らしいです。

Took a trip on a boat in Yanagawa, Fukuoka-ken, to see the Hina Matsuri (Girl's Day or Doll's Day) parade, which takes place every March.
Japan Walk - Hakone Botanical Garden Of Wetlands (箱根湿生花園) - 4K
In this video we’ll show you Hakone Botanical Garden Of Wetlands (箱根湿生花園), Kanagawa.
This unique botanical garden, which display most of the aquatic plants seen in japanese wetlands, was first established in 1976. The botanical garden is located in Hakone-Sengokuhara, 650m (2,200 feet ) above sea level.
The Garden, which was formerly a flat area containing rice paddies, is now a specially designed ecosystem consisting of man-made hills, rockeries, ponds, streams and several different types of moors. It consists of eight divisions; namely, 4 moors, a swampforest, am upland forest, a meadow and an alpine garden, whose flowers present a continuously changing picture with the seasons.
In this Garden more than a thousand species of wild herbaceous and woody plants are collected and displayed as natural plant communities. Since individual plants are placed in a natural situation, the Garden should help you not only to identity each plant, but also to recognize its natural locality.

-柳川雛祭り さげもんめぐり- Yanagawa city of SAGEMON Tour [4K]
今日は“柳川ひな祭り〜さげもんめぐり”に行ってきました！
柳川地方では、女の子の初節句に
ひな壇と一緒に色とりどりの【さげもん】という飾りを飾りお祝いするのが習わしだそうで、
このお祭りの期間中は市内のいたるところにさげもんが飾られたり、
パレードが行われたりするそうです。
2019年の開催期間は
2019年02月11日〜2019年04月03日です。
そして今年からの試みで
古民家で初節句を迎える女の子を柳川ならではのお祝いの仕方でお祝いするという企画が行われました。
ななちゃんの初節句！
せっかくなので素敵なお祝いをということで参加させていただきました！
4時間会場をお借りしている間に
会場に足を運んでくださった観光客の方からお祝いの言葉をたくさんいただきました。
ななちゃんも声をかけるられるたびにニコニコとご機嫌な様子で楽しんでいました！
柳川観光協会の方々、スタッフの方々、お祝いわしてくださった皆様に感謝しております！
来年も開催したいと観光協会の方がおっしゃっていたので来年以降もあるかもしれませんね！
今年は応募して抽選だったため、来年も抽選の可能性があるので初節句を迎えるお子さんがいらっしゃる方は年明けごろに調べてみるといいかもしれません。

- 퀄리티 대비 가격대가 저렴한 편이에요!
- 저는 마지막 남은 방이라고 해서 그냥 예약했는데, 나중에 확인해보니 5~6인실을 예약해버렸어요 :( (사실 그래서 저렴하게 다녀온 느낌은 없습니다ㅠ 2인실로 했어야하는데..)
- 2년 전에 이 료칸에 왔었는데, 그 때 썼던 2~3인실도 너무 좋았어요!!

Hiii! This is a vlog about a touchy subject. I think what I'm trying to say, basically, is that Japan doesn't have a history of allowing immigrants to come in and develop the country, unlike a lot of Western countries, therefore it's not really fair to expect them to be more like the USA/CANADA/EUROPE when it comes to accepting foreigners as one of their own. Bleh. I hope I don't offend anybody. =/

A Road Trip in Kyushu, Japan
Japan Travel Guide and vlog from our road trip in Kyushu, Japan (southwest Japan) in December 2018. We visited Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita (Yufuin and Beppu) and rented a car for our 9 day trip! We visited a lot of onsens (hot springs), saw snow, and went to a dutch theme park (Huis Ten Bosch).
The restaurant I mentioned in Nagasaki is Cafe Lekker.
The restaurant in Kumamoto is called Shimoda.
In Yufuin we stayed at Yufunogo Saigakukan Ryokan.
