Yang San Lang Art Museum PSA shoot: behind the scenes
The immigration bureau of Taiwan shot a PSA in the fourth floor of the Yang San Lang Art Museum. I shot video of them (with a little help from our curatorial assistant Jack).

Yang San-Lang was born in 1907. He traveled to Japan to study painting from 1923 to 1928. He continued his study in Paris, France between 1932 and 1933. In 1934, he established the Tai-Yang Art Association along with his peer. In 1946, Yang helped arrange the 1st Taiwan Provincial Art Exhibition, held in Taipei City. In 1991, the Yang San-Lang Museum was set up in Yang’s old residence in Yonghe District.

Chinese Filipinos are one of the largest overseas Chinese communities in Southeast Asia. There are approximately 1.5 million Filipinos with pure Chinese ancestry, or around 1.8% of the population. In addition, Sangleys—Filipinos with at least some Chinese ancestry—comprise a substantial minority of the Philippine population, although the actual figures are not known.Chinese Filpinos are a well established middle class ethnic group and are well represented in all levels of Filipino society.
