Kim Jong Un and his Wife Visits Football Match on Yanggakdo Stadium
Korean Central Television (조선중앙방송)
The dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un looked round the Yanggakdo Football Stadium, together with Ri Sol Ju.
The more than 30 000-seater stadium was built in May, 1989 to match the beautiful scenery of Yanggak Islet.
By successfully hosting international and domestic matches in the past the stadium has made a positive contribution to developing the nation's sports and boosting the friendship with various countries.
Kim Jong Un visited the stadium with a plan to radically remodel the stadium as required by the new century. He dropped in at the room dedicated to its history.
Saying President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il were present at the ceremony for the completion of the stadium, Kim Jong Un recollected with deep emotion the undying exploits they performed for the development of the Juche-based physical culture and sports.
Looking round various parts of the stadium, he specified tasks and ways for carrying out the project.
He said it is the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to turn the stadium into a football stadium which can represent stadiums of such type across the country as required by the new century.
Indicating in detail the orientation and ways for remodeling the stadium, he formed a strong construction unit capable of carrying out the project in a brief span of time.
To develop physical culture and sports is an important work to augment the national power in every way, demonstrate the indomitable spirit and dignity of Songun Korea before the world and let all the service personnel and people dynamically step up the building of a thriving socialist nation full of national pride and self-esteem, he said.
He expressed expectation and belief that the relevant fields would successfully remodel the stadium as a football stadium to be impeccable in any aspect.
He was accompanied by Choe Ryong Hae, Jang Song Thaek, Hyon Yong Chol, Ri Yong Gil and officials of the relevant field.

North Koreans who are enjoying the training games leisurely while looking for the arena even before the opening ceremony. Recently, interest in sports has increased in North Korea. Do you watch football mostly on the internet? Or is it on TV? TV and newspapers, magazines. Is there a lot of sports news on the North Broadcast? How much is it? There are many. There are a lot of people who love sports and there is a lot of interest. We have a lot of mistakes, and the 11-meter penalty kick is a lot of mistakes, said Han Joon-hee, KBS Football Commentator. It falls into the talk of the physical education that the north side girl dislikes. Then, Messi, who's next to Ronaldo? Nemar, Suarez. Next up is Mom Bape, Grizzman, Bell, and then Bell, the Wales team, Bell. Oh, veil! Are not you on a team with Ronaldo and Veil? But after Ronaldo, the veil came to my eyes. On that team, you know that the Real Madrid team has recently left Real Madrid, surely? Yes, I know. Without Ronaldo, could the veil be able to bloom more? Would not Veil be able to do better without Ronaldo? So did Neimar leave Barcelona to avoid Messiah? South and North are going to open their minds through sports. They are clapping each other.

Traveling from Seoul to Pyongyang for less than 200km on the first flight from Walking to the World. It is within a few hours by bus. The west sea land route to the north begins with Kaesong. In the city center with the high-rise buildings including the movie theater, people with Kaesong citizens and cyclists can be seen. In North Korea, there is a solar panel on a window called a living house. Bus procession that escapes personality and enters into gold river. The scenery becomes simple. In the summer of August, when the heat wave struck, there is corn and no corn fields ripening under the sun. The natural scenery of North Korea that we met for the first time, and the landscape that is not much different from our landscape is fresh. It is sunset at night. There is a glare in the west of the Taedong River. It is Pyongyang. When I climb the top floor of that building, Pyongyang city will be seen. It was not only a tall building but also a gorgeous camera. Now, I have a lot of opportunities to shoot in the future. Stop now.

There is as much interest in Pyongyang as much as the main schedule. A common topic in South and North is what you eat right now! How about Seoul noodles? Is it the same way? It's a little different. Shaved We are white Seoul is pure buckwheat flavor, Pyongyang cold noodle is a little bit of starch? Finally boiled North and South cold noodles boast. I've been to the porch a lot. When I go often, I went to eat once a day. Pyongyang broth does not eat So you're just going to eat noodles? Do you have other dishes? You should not eat cold water when you go to eat noodles. So, I feel the taste of broth. Oh, when I go to eat noodles, I drink less water, so? Yes. So I decided to check it myself. Pyongyang citizens also stand in line to eat the noodles cold noodles. It is indescribably indulgent noodle cold noodle in every field of inter-Korean harmony and exchange! Good morning, Nice to meet you. What is more than just a single meal is noodles cold noodles. Do you have any other tables here? We serve noodles on our bases. So, there is no more. Then there is a beer? Oh, the Daedonggang beer. Another specialty of Pyongyang, the Daedonggang beer, is delicious. It does not take too much, but it is the coolest thing to drink here. Of the beers I drank, the Daedong River beer is the most famous among the beers I can eat especially on the north side. It is a little beer with a distinctive flavor and a slightly similar taste. I have a number. There are number 1 and number 2, and the taste varies slightly depending on the number. The higher the number, the higher the blending ratio of rice and the tastes are said to be smooth. Guest, do you know how to eat Pyongyang cold noodles? Please let me know. How do you eat? Our noodles. It is more delicious to eat when you see something other people are eating. Pyeongyang cold noodles do not taste delicious if you put vinegar in broth. Teacher, can I do that? If you put vinegar directly on the water, the taste of the broth changes. I feel a little bit more chewy when I sprinkle vinegar on the noodles side because the flavor disappears. There is a secret to this broth. Chicken, pheasant and chicken are combined to create a clear and cool taste. Seaweed is a little different from eating in Seoul. It is very clean. I do not have any taste. I do not know why it's a prison. Drinking buckwheat tea for dessert. It is a trend to visit the cold noodle house these days, but it is not easy to visit the oven, but I have eaten it now. Clear windless weather. In August, Pyongyang had the highest temperature ever recorded at 35, 36 degrees a day.

Urban Renewal in Pyongyang (1)
Tonight in our ongoing series on North Korea during the Kim Jong-un era, we look at a new set of apartment buildings in Pyongyang. It is one of many urban renewal projects that is transforming the capital's skyline. These aren't office buildings. They are the homes of Pyongyang residents. Urban redevelopment has virtually eliminated single-story homes in the city. Residents live in buildings which are becoming taller each year. Here on Victory Street is the Changjon Apartment Complex, the latest in social housing: 15 buildings, ranging from 15 to 45 stories. They replace the five-story buildings that had been on this site since the 1950s. Units have a living room, two to five bedrooms, and range from 89 to 159 square meters. They are distributed based on the number of family members and th

Victory Day Mass Dance in Pyongyang, North Korea
At the occasion of Victory Day (July 27th, the day in 1953 when the Armistice Agreement was signed and the day that North Korea considers its victorious day in the Korean War), tens of thousands of citizens take to the many city squares around the country and dance to their hearts' delight. This scene was captured in front of the National Indoor Stadium in central Pyongyang. The drizzle could not dampen the spirits and the 'single-hearted unity' of these loyal citizens. Would you like to see these mass dances with your own eyes ? Join me on a tour of North Korea in the summer !
