It has a population of 250,000, with long-term residents accounting for 147,000 and migrants taking the rest; 97.9% of the population is of Han ethnicity. Why this happens? Why the people prefer Yanjiao?
Only one reason: the lower living cost, both the house rent and the price of real estate, and it is not far from Beijing.
With the great population, the town of Yanjiao actually looks like a city. In some ways, it is more prosperous than most 4th tier cities in China.

The video is shot by myself in May, 2017. The peak season of tourist in this coastal city is from June to August, when people in Beijing and other nearby cities in Northeast China come to enjoy the beach.
