This is sunset into Yankalilla Bay, Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. Paul and I were fossicking for crystals in the company of the 'locals' - dairy cows. There was not a breath of wind.... it was just plain magic.

When he met Gail they worked together in Yankalilla, S.A. ; Mount Gambier, S.A,; Devonport, Tas.; Strahan, Tas; Alice Springs, N.T.; Agnew, W.A.; and now Kalgoorlie, W.A. Hospitality is in his blood.
Waukaringa ruins South Australia
The settlement was founded in 1890’s, when gold was discovered in the region. There were about 600 people living here, and it is hard to believe, but the hotel was operating until 1970’s.
