KUMAMON Port Yatsushiro（くまモンポート八代）
“KUMAMON Port Yatsushiro” will be established in Yatsushiro Port, located in the center of “Kumamoto” where KUMAMON is from. There are about 90 various size KUMAMONs, including about 6 meter-high [Big KUMAMON] and [KUMAMON Chorus Group] which has 54 KUMAMONs lined up, and they’re so excited to take pictures with you. Greater Kumamoto (熊本都市圏) had a population of 1,461,000, as of the 2000 census. As of 2010, Kumamoto Metropolitan Employment Area has a GDP of US$39.8 billion. It is not considered part of the Fukuoka–Kitakyushu metropolitan area, despite their shared border. The city was designated on April 1, 2012 by government ordinance.

極上の日本庭園 熊本県八代市の松濱軒 Japanese garden best Syouhinken in Yatsushiro-shi, Kumamoto
2019.06.16(日) 熊本県八代市北の丸町の松浜軒(ショウヒンケン)に行って来ました。
ここ松浜軒は、元禄元年（1688年）に当時の八代城主の松井直之(マツイナオユキ)公が母の崇芳院尼(スウホウインニ)のために建てたお茶屋です。
建てられたころには、周りに松が茂っていて、八代海のすぐ間近の浜辺だったことから松浜軒と名づけられたということです。庭には四季に応じて花が咲いて、日本庭園の落ち着いたたたずまいを見ることができます。
5月中旬から6月中旬頃は肥後花菖蒲の咲く時期で、県内外から多くの観光客が見られるそうです。6月の第一日曜日に催される「肥後古流」のお茶会「菖蒲の茶会」はとても有名です。残念ながら、私が訪れた日は肥後花菖蒲の花には、一週間遅かったということです(^.^)
2002年には「旧熊本藩八代城主浜御茶屋（松浜軒）庭園」として、国の名勝に指定されました。

I went to SHOUHINKEN in Kitanomarumachi, Yatsushiro-shi, Kumamoto on 2019.06.16 Sunday.
SHOUHINKEN is the restaurant Naoyuki Matsui publicity of Yashiro lord of castle in those days built for mother's SUUHOUINNI for 1688 here.
The turn is overgrown with a pine at built time, and because it was the beach where Yatsushiro-kai is proximate right now, it's said that it was called SHOUHINKEN. It's possible to flower according to the four seasons and see the quiet air of the Japanese garden in a garden.
It's said that many tourists are seen from prefecture outside in the time when Higo iris blooms around the middle of June from the middle of May. The tea ceremony of Higo old school held on first Sunday of June tea ceremony of an iris is very famous. It's said that the day unfortunately I visited was for one week later in a flower of Higo iris (^.^).
It was designated by a national scenic spot as old Kumamoto feudal clan Yashiro Shiro Shiyuhama restaurant garden in 2002.

Cute and Old Kagoshima Local Trains! Transportation of Trip! Let's count! How many compartments...?
* Kagoshima is countryside and trains have only 2 compartment.
It is as fast as cars (about 60 kilometers per hour)
* Kagoshima's trains have toilets.
But please remember, young Western ladies! Most of them are Japanese-style. The best idea is to go to Western-style toilet at the stations before you take trains.
* If you use train you can reach to many destinations from Kagoshima-Chuo station.
* Train travels in Kagoshima is very comfortable and inexpensive all right, but it is more recommendable to travel by a rental car. Many travel spots are too far from station to walk.
* Most train staff are not so good at speaking English, but they are much kinder than other prefectures and get used to foreigners.

Kagoshima-Chūō Station (鹿児島中央駅 Kagoshima-Chūō-eki, lit: Kagoshima Central Station) is a major railway station in Kagoshima, Japan, operated by Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu). It is the southern terminus of the Kyushu Shinkansen and is located on the Kagoshima Main Line and Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line. Before the Kyushu Shinkansen opened in 2004, the station was called Nishi-Kagoshima Station (lit: West Kagoshima Station).
October 11, 1913 - Opened as Take Station (武駅 Take-eki) on the Sendai Line.
December 17, 1915 - Opened as Take Ekimae tram stop (武駅前停留所) by Kagoshima Tram.
October 17, 1927 - Take Station changed its name to Nishi-Kagoshima Station (西鹿児島駅)
August 7, 1928 - Take Ekimae tram stop was renamed Nishi-Kagoshima Ekimae tram stop (西鹿児島駅前停留所).
On March 13, 2004, Nishi-Kagoshima Station was renamed Kagoshima-Chūō Station (鹿児島中央駅), and Kyushu Shinkansen services began between Shin-Yatsushiro and Kagoshima-Chūō. Nishi-Kagoshima Ekimae tram stop was renamed Kagoshima-Chuo Ekimae tram stop (鹿児島中央駅前停留所).
