Yellow River Park, Zhengzhou China
The Yellow River Park is located near Zhengzhou city, about 28km northwest, and is backed by a beautiful mound called the Yue Hill. The park is composed of four parts: Wanglongfeng Scenic Spot where the Water Conservancy Project to divert the Yellow River water to Zhengzhou was built in 1972; Yueshan Temple Scenic Spot where the Zijin Tower and Iron Chain Bridge are found; Luotuo (Camel) Bridge with its 10-meter-tall statue of Emperor Yu the Great and nearby, the Stele Forest of the Yellow River with some 570 pieces inscribed by famous contemporary calligraphers; Hanba Erwangcheng Scenic Spot, which is made up of East and West Guangwu cities, two royal cities built in 203 BC by Liu Bang, first Han emperor and Xiangyu, ruler of the State of Chu when the two pitted their forces against each other there.
Zhengzhou, formerly called Zheng County, is the capital of Henan province. The city centre lies on the southern bank of the Yellow River, and is one of the Eight Great Ancient Capitals of China.

Yellow river is second largest in China and sixth in world . Yellow river is known as mother of china .Zhengzhou National Wetland Park of the Yellow River is located between the bridge over the Yellow River in Huiji District and Zhengzhou Yellow River Highway Bridge. The magnificent Yellow River can be admired from inside the park. The park has six attractions including an exploring area on the beach and a Yellow River agriculture area. The park is home to a wide range of plant and animal species. Migratory birds often rest here. Birds also breed here and hibernate here, making this a fantastic location for birding.

Henan: The Yellow River - 13 Jun 2017
During the last day of our trip in China, we visited the yellow river and rode a cool hovercraft. Afterwards, we took pictures by a mountain with the face of the yellow emperor sculpted on it. After lunch, we were supposed to visit his tomb, but our flight to Shanghai got cancelled and we had to go straight to the airport to make alternate arrangements. It was a sobering end to a memorable and eventful trip to China.

A Brief Introduction of the Yellow River in China
The Yellow River (or Huang He) is the second-longest river in Asia after the Yangtze and the sixth-longest in the world at the estimated length of 5,464 km (3,395 mi). Originating in the Bayan Har Mountains in Qinghai province of western China, it flows through nine provinces and empties into the Bohai Sea near the city of Dongying in Shandong province. The Yellow River basin has an east-west extent of 1,900 kilometers (1,180 mi) and a north-south extent of 1,100 km (680 mi). Its total basin area is 742,443 square kilometers (286,659 sq mi).
The Yellow River is notable for the large amount of silt it carries—1.6 billion tons annually at the point where it descends from the Loess Plateau. If it is running to the sea with sufficient volume, 1.4 billion tons are carried to the sea annually. One estimate gives 34 kilograms of silt per cubic meter as opposed to 10 for the Colorado and 1 for the Nile. This video shows the sediment control projects along the Yellow River.
