Driving on Interstate 90 from Billings to Hardin, Montana
while I-90 turns southeast into Big Horn County. Immediately after entering Big Horn County the three highways pass the seasonal Hardin rest area.Entering Hardin, the county seat, the three highways intersect S-313 and MT 47. S-313 provides access to Yellowtail Dam, while MT 47 connects back to I-94. After exiting Hardin, I-90 turns south, entering the Crow Indian Reservation and intersects S-384, before reaching Crow Agency. Crow Agency is home to the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument and Reno–Benteen Battlefield Memorial, which are passed after US 212 departs to the east. Continuing south, I-90/US 87 parallels S-451 and the Little Bighorn River, passing by Garryowen, Benteen, Lodge Grass and Wyola before exiting the state of Montana and entering Sheridan County, Wyoming

Lawsuit settlement to help preserve parts of Big Thicket
A one million dollar lawsuit settlement will help pay to preserve parts of the Big Thicket National Preserve.U.S. Attorney Malcolm Bales announced the settlement during a news conference on the banks of village creek in Hardin County.Bales says a Portuguese company that was polluting waterways agreed to the settlement.$600,000 will go directly go to the Conservation Fund, a non profit that agreed to buy 361 acres near village creek in Hardin County.The Conservation Fund will take ownership of the land while the Big Thicket National Preserve makes arrangements to transfer ownership. Representatives from the non profit say it's essential to help conserve nature in Texas.

Brittany Iron competes in the Crow Nation's Ultimate Warrior Challenge. The Challenge spurs her to master canoeing, running, and riding. The race teaches the Native values of commitment and perseverance. To participate, she has to commit to abstain from drugs and alcohol. The Crow are reimagining what it means to be a warrior. They are now drawing on traditional rituals to combat the effects of centuries of stigma and trauma, and to rebuild the tribe’s sense of pride and purpose.

St. Xavier school AHEC PSA Contest
Four schools have been chosen as the winners of the first public service announcement contest run by the Eastern Montana Area Health Education Center (AHEC) at RiverStone Health.
Each group of students had the challenge of making a short video of a public service announcement on a public health topic, using information found through their local public health department. The winning videos were on drug abuse, sleep deprivation, bullying and bad driving habits.
