St. Margaret The Queen Daffodil Delight
I went along to St. Margaret The Queen Church in Buxted Park this morning and as I had uploaded a video of their beautiful daffodils on 23rd March 2009, I wanted someone in authority to take a look and possibly use it on their website. The Sunday Morning Service started at 10am, so I got there at 9.45am on my watch, then as I heard music coming from inside, I pottered round the daffodils in the Churchyard and walked around their 2,000 year old Yew Tree taking a few photos. At a few minutes to ten, on my watch, I went into the Church and to my amazement the Morning Service was just finishing! Then it dawned on me that the clocks must have been put forward for British Summertime and it was nearer 11am than 10am! I did a thorough search of the YouTube library for a suitable piece of music and chose A Father and Son by Dax Johnson.

A very cold start to the day, but it was a lovely day and made for a great setting. Unfortunately the battery run out before the other fish were caught on the day. We all had fish, but we also lost a few, they were very lively trout!

Concert in a Tree House 1 - Peter Plays: Summertime
Recorded in the wonderful Tree House at Fanny's Farm Shop, Surrey:
On a cool and windy early September morning, the Tree House was snug and warm thanks to a gas fire. One of the more unusual places in which to play concertina! Note: see my recent video for a close-up of the fingering on this tune.
The Tree House is available for morning coffee or afternoon tea bookings.
