Hey there Tripsters! Welcome to the very first episode of our Visit Review series!
REVIEW DISCLAIMER: We tried contacting Yexel's (via their FB and email accounts) so we can give you a more in depth and detailed review. But we sadly didn't hear back from them. This video is the result of our personal visit and research.
We visited Yexel's Toy House at Ayala Malls South Park and my family and I had a good time. We went there on a Monday at 12n and there were only 2 other group of people with us so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The place has a good amount of toys of varying sizes on display. They range from video game characters, cartoons, film, anime, all the way to comic book heroes like the Justice League and the obvious highlight of the entire museum ... Iron Man.
We wanted to give it a slightly higher rating but we found a few display being poorly lit. Like some of the small toys that we can hardly see because the light wasn't functioning and that giant Hulk that we weren't even able to feature here because you will find it hard to appreciate the guy looking almost completely silhouette.
If you're after taking high quality photos, a mirrorless camera or a DSLR is pretty much a requirement due to the low ambient light inside the toy house. Cellphones are probably okay for casual photography but even a bigger sensor camera like the one that we used to shoot struggled with some noticeable amount of noise. Even their official Facebook page is littered with low quality photos of the place.

See Life-Sized Toys at the Adventure of Yexel's Museum at Manila Ocean Park, with Indonesian subtitle.
Toy enthusiasts and children of all ages will surely enjoy a fabulous time with Amazing Stories of Yexel’s Museum by Manila Shows and Display Corporation, the newest tenant of Manila Ocean Park. There are 7 spaces featuring Yexel’s life-sized interpretations, educational exhibits on toy making, spiders, outer space and more. These toy collections are a testament to the fine Filipino craftsmanship and superb quality. A souvenir shop and activity area are also found inside the attraction. The Amazing Stories of Yexel’s Museum is located at the second level of Manila Ocean Park.
