Just an hour's drive from Hualien, we stayed for a few days in Ruisui to enjoy their famous hot springs. ???? Our favourite part of the trip would definitely have to be enjoying the huge, natural hot spring pool in our backyard that opens up to the starry skies at night ✨ a private hot spring pool is available in most of their rooms!
The owner of Jixiang also runs a sunrise Qingshui Cliffs kayaking tour???? We had to get out of bed at 2 am to catch the golden sunrise whi by the majestic Qingshui cliffs - totally worth it!

Last winter, my family and I went to travel to Taiwan and the first stop that we go is Hualien 花蓮. So after Hualien, we went to Yilan and Tainan. As for this trip , we just stayed at Yilan and Tainan for 3 Days 2 Night. The next trip will be Taichung and Taipei. So, please looking forward for the next videos!!

I had the opportunity to visit Taiwan for a week. Marking the second country in Asia I've been to. I've been living in Japan for a year now and will be posting more adventure vlogs about that soon. This first part of my Taiwan series is located in Wulai, a quaint valley village outside of Taipei about 40 minutes. We collaborated with some local businesses:

So go to the end of the old street past the wild boar sausage stand, you'll see a bridge crossing the river on the right, go over that and take a left, you'll see a mural of deer on the wall to the right and the Fish Spa is across from that - the sign is small but the downstairs sells icecream/ice treats.
Things I ate were all tasty, but as you can see some, harder to chew than others.

I was heading from Yilan to Wai Ao Beach in Taiwan. On the way, I asked the locals on the train about any hot springs... They said there is a hot springs town, and to just get off at Jiaoxi station... So this is my adventure on a spur of the moment stop in Taiwan, about an hour from Taipei.

Lanyang Museum is an interesting place that explores Yilan's history. I liked that it was very specific to the area. You are not going to get information about Taiwan's history after it became the Republic of China. It's about Yilan and the lifestyles of the peoples there.
After that was a beautiful stroll to the beaches and seeing my first legit, So-Cal (more like NORCAL) style beach. It's beautiful.

Salsa friends took me to visit waterfall in 礁溪 and hot spring in 梵梵溫泉. It was not easy to be the waterfall because it is usually for people to go river tracing.

Endangered Animals Mural - Yilan Public Library - Yilan News with the Mayor
I painted a mural on the 3rd floor of the Yilan Public Library. It was for an event to recognize endangered animals. Kids from a local art school came to paint their own ideas based on what they saw from my mural. The mayor of Yilan was there. Everyone signed the painting in chalk and even helped me finish the painting in paint markers.
