Bondi Beach - Sydney
It's Australia’s most famous beach. Often the first port of call for backpackers, billionaires, surfers and sunbathers, Bondi's golden crescent and clear, turquoise waters never fail to impress. But there's more to love about Bondi than the sand and surf. A burgeoning food and bar scene, one-off fashion boutiques and luxury accommodation have made Bondi Beach one of the city's most glamorous destinations. In the side streets you'll find alfresco cafés, yoga schools and weekend markets, and down on the promenade things are action-packed. Stay awhile and you too will be hooked.
Ocean sound. Sydney, Bondi beach. #Relaxation
#Relaxation, resting, chill out...

Inspiration entails action. And sometimes our outer surroundings inspire us to push forward with whatever we do in life. Yoga is one of those exercises that allow you to be one with nature. So whether you’re an outdoor or indoor yogi, here are the best places to challenge yourself when doing yoga in Sydney.
1. Yoga by the sea
As a motivation to live a healthier lifestyle, doing yoga by the ocean is an exercise both pleasing to the eye and the body. The ocean breeze accompanied by a pod of dolphins, make this venue a fantastic way to relax and enjoy the nature that Sydney has to offer. Outstretched by the sunshine coast, Yoga by the Sea takes place at Bondi Icebergs and the Tamarama and Bronte Surf Clubs on most mornings, perfect to capture those Instagram worthy shots. Yoga in Sydney doesn't get much better.
Location: 1 Notts Ave, Bondi Beach NSW 2026
2. Yoga from the sky
Yoga, conventionally an exercise known for its qualities of relaxation, can be often misunderstood as dry to some people. If you are not afraid of heights and love a breathtaking view, then Yoga from the Sky is the perfect match for you. Yoga from the Sky is hosted by the Sydney Tower Eye on the Observation Desk, where it is made possible to do yoga whilst observing the picturesque cityscape of Sydney on a 360 view. With the view all the way up to 258 metres in the air, Yoga from the Sky is also a great way to conquer any fear of heights for the few that aren’t brave enough to do the skywalk.
Location: Sydney Tower Eye, entrance via level 5, Westfield Shopping Centre
3. Yoga under the Sea
Teamed up with the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, Yoga under the Sea is a program that gives individuals the push for an invigorating start to the day in the most unusual setting. Surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef exhibit, this location engulfs a calming oceanic setting where tropical fish and sharks greet you in an unorthodox triangle pose. Alongside its views, it also gives the chance for individuals to take some time out to alleviate any sense of mental clarity ahead of the working day through a combination of yoga styles like Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa and some light meditative sequences.
Location: 1-5 Wheat Rd, Sydney NSW 2000
4. InYoga
Often known as a “retreat from the city”, the famous yoga studio in Surry Hills is not only place driven but also community driven from its warm, cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Driven by its balance between contemporary training and traditional philosophy of yoga, InYoga offers daily yoga classes, workshops, teacher trainings and events within the studio, making it rank at a solid 4.8 stars out of 5. With a line-up of charismatic yoga instructors, fresh flowers, and a bowl of fresh fruit for the taking, InYoga is a must for those caught in the 9-5 lifestyle.
Location: 115 Cooper St, Surry Hills, NSW 2010
With all these places on offer, you can rock out it out in your own very own customised yoga mat here at Disrupt Sports. So whether a beginner or a seasoned yogi, yoga is Sydney is sure to impress.

LYRICS:
We have a healthy lifestyle by the sea,
We eat organic and gluten free,
We do bikram yoga and pilates,
We like soy late's and goji berries.
Fuck carbs, fuck fats, fuck calories,
I snack on fucken celery,
And then on the weekend I just don't eat,
Cause I'll be smashing lines of of toilet seats.
Don't you read my tweets? I'm off my head,
My heart beat stopped, fuck you should be dead,
That was intense, Do you wanna go to bed?
No bra, lets eat some caps instead!
You know what that sounds like to me?
No man. It sounds like irony.
Hey man, if we just found irony,
Do you know how ironic, that would be?
What do you get when you take a hobo,
Add some emo, a touch of metro, a hipster.
I'm not one though, uh uh, no way,
You don't know me bro.
Shopping at garage sales is really cool,
Hey man look at that it's totes old school.
Who are you kidding, not a chance,
I get all my cool shit from General Pants.
Hey Adrian bra, you got a smoke?
Stop scabbing Dom! It's becoming a joke!
Come on bra, I'm always broke,
But I've got 350 for a bag of coke.
You know what that sounds like to me?
No man. It sounds like irony.
Hey man, if we just found irony,
Do you know how ironic, that shit would be?
We like to make up, our own words,
That are loosely based on existing words.
Like totes, maybs, gorge, brill, awk, redick, devo,
Cazj, presh, deets, sitch, addy, vag, deffo.
And sometimes we change the sounds of words ay,
Like instead of rage we say rargaye,
And instead of target we say targaye,
But we don't shop there, cause Target's gay.
We don't shower cause it's a waste of water,
Plus it makes you look cool like you don't bother.
But it's hard to minimise your environmental footprint,
When you have to wear so much deodorant.
You know what that sounds like to me?
No man. It sounds like irony.
Hey man, if we just found irony,
Do you know how ironic, that would be?
You know me, I'm on the 333,
Bondi Beach to Circular Quay.
You know me, I'm on the 333,
Circular Quay then back to the sea.

Naked Beach Double Yoga
Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years as a way to integrate body, mind and spirit. Naked yoga, or “spiritual nudity” has also been promulgated by various Indian sects going back millennia. For example, members of the Hindu sect, the Nagas, believe nudity to be a central aspect of their renunciation practice. They consider this nudity to be part of their belief that the material aspect of existence must be rejected in order to attain enlightenment. For them, naked yoga is a way of overcoming desires and any identification with their physical bodies, and a means to eliminate all attachments, especially the physical and sensual.
In the West, yoga and other esoteric teachings of the East, have entered more mainstream philosophy and practices since the cultural revolution of the 60s. Indeed, yoga has become so accepted as a way of strengthening and loosening the body, that there are now professional athletes and footballers who use it. Nude yoga, however, remains challenging, especially in public where nudity is often banned.
In this video, two ladies perform beach yoga in tandem on the back-beach of Byron Bay, Australia. Several classic yoga poses are presented, such as downward dog, but in a manner that brings beauty and artistry to the female form.

Boho chic! Meghan Markle tours Bondi Beach in a $1615 maxi dress by Australian designer Martin Grant
Boho chic! Meghan Markle tours Bondi Beach in a $1615 maxi dress by Australian designer Martin Grant - before breaking protocol by kicking off her $147 wedges to enjoy time with locals.
Day four of the royal tour kicked off bright and early at Sydney's iconic Bondi Beach, where the Duchess of Sussex turned to yet another Australian designer for her outfit.
Despite the damp and dreary conditions, Meghan Markle looked radiant in a khaki maxi-dress from Melbourne-born designer Martin Grant's 2019 Resort collection.
The $1,615 (GBP £880) gown features a straight, sleeveless neckline and full pleated skirt, with contrasting caramel and white stripes.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA | Calming waves of Bondi Beach
Bondi is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sydney, loved by both locals and visitors.
I was going on a coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee (highly recommended!) and decided to stop for a moment to take in this view!
No editing or filters have been applied to this video hence the fuzzy quality! :)
ACRO YOGA IN AUSTRALIA
The Great Acro Yoga Exchange took place this weekend and it was one of the best weekends of my life. Fortunately the camera was there to capture the action. This video has been a labour of love but some point if you love something you've got to let it go.
This is my way of saying a huge thank you to the amazing Acro Yoga Community in Australia. For the awesome vibes, incredible generosity and kindness they display for each other and anyone they come into contact with.
There are heaps of trick, poses, flows, acrobatic, yoga and dancing to follow in Circular Quay, Bondi Beach and Centennial Park Enjoy!
Massive shout out to Klaire and Nicholas Cole who helped me shoot some footage on day three, let me fly their drone and massively helped during the edit process. You guys are golden and I can't thank you enough!
