Every term, we take our students to a remote community near Samara to provide free massage. As part of a cultural exchange event created by the Asociacion CREAR, the students learn to make Costa Rican Tamales. The community has the opportunity to earn money for their civic projects from the sale of the tamales, and the CREAR Association receives a generous donation for organizing the event.
