What do you feel under the shiny starry sky in a planetarium? Hideo Asada, who has been in love with stars since he was a boy, received his astronomy master’s will, “Do you know what a planetarium is really for?” The question inspired his explorer’s spirit and expanded his astronomical education career. So what is his final answer? Now he shares his idea with stars and a total solar eclipse recorded on Dec. 4, 2002, at Ceduna, South Australia.

プラネタリウムで満点の星空を見るとき、あなたは何を感じますか？子どもの頃から天文に触れ続けてきた浅田英夫は、天文教育の師匠から「プラネタリウムは何をするところか知っとるか？」という問いを遺言のように受け取りました。その問いの答えを一心に追い求め、たどた着いた答えとは？貴重な皆既日食の映像（2002年12月4日、南オーストラリア州セドゥナ）や星空とともに語ります。

浅田 英夫（あさだ ひでお）
天文研究家
1953年三重県四日市市生まれ。学生時代は、プラネタリウム解説の草分け的存在である山田卓氏の下で天文普及活動を行う。卒業後は天体望遠鏡メーカーに勤めたが、1992年に退職してフリーランスとなり、星を見上げる楽しみを広めるべく、あさだ考房を設立。天文宇宙に関する講演や執筆、プラネタリウム解説を中心に活動している。現在は、NPO法人アイ・プラネッツの理事長として市民協働による安城市文化センターのプラネタリウム運営をしながら、全国のプラネタリウムにおいて生涯教育を意識した企画、運営、解説指導などを行なっている。
Born in Yokkaichi, Mie prefecture, Japan. He dedicated his college days for spreading astronomy with Takashi Yamada, a planetarium commentary pioneer in Japan. After his graduation, he worked for an astronomical telescope company. In 1992 he resigned and founded Asada Thinking Laboratory to teach people how wonderful and joyful to observe stars. Now he gives lectures and writes articles about the wonder of the universe while serving as a planetarium commentary. Currently he is a director of i-Planets, a nonprofit organization managing Anjo City Culture Center Planetarium, and travels around many planetariums in Japan to teach planetarium commentary and support their managements. Taxing on Nagoya Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO)
Air China AIrbus A319 from Chengdu Shuangliu (CTU) via Shanghai Pudong (PVG) arrived at Nagoya with 1 hour delay. Chubu Centrair is built on the artificial island in Ise Bay. I sat on the sea side seat so nothing was taken in video before landing, but finally enjoyed the view of the terminal building and various aircraft.
