You can only find it on Google Maps so it is still quite secret insider's tip! Ladies only! 6 minutes walk from one of Japan's MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES, the Yonaha-Maehama ????️ Beach on Miyakojima Island, Okinawa. The guesthouse has only 3 rooms, each with a fridge & tv, closet and a make-up corner. Japanese style, you will sleep on mats on the tatami floor but you can adjust it yourself and make it high to feel soft enough and comfortable. I used 3 mats, good that they have them! Shower and toilet are shared and to be found on the same floor like the rooms as well as a laundry machine that you can use for FREE to wash your beach stuff. There is a large veranda in front of each room however the doors can't be opened so you will have fresh air only from the air conditioning. There is no WiFi, hopefully they will provide it in future. Every morning breakfast is provided by the owner, hot breads with small hotdogs, salad and one more dish like fried eggs, potato salad or noodle salad.
Mr. Sugita the owner is kind and pleasant and did FREE pick up from and to the nearest airport. The location just 6 minutes walk to the best swimming beach is UNBEATABLE and also close to airport!! There are only 2 more lodgings on this beach and they are expensive! The property right next to Lady's Pension Coo is the luxury Hotel Tokyu where you can go out for some expensive dining and a convenience store at their basement. The public transport on Miyakojima Island is almost inexistent so you will either need to rent a car or a bicycle (guesthouse doesn't provide any) if you want to go around to all cool snorkeling places and the outer cute islands with many sightseeing spots!! It is possible to walk to Kurima Island crossing the nice bridge that you will see from the beach and have snorkeling there on a small and secluded snorkeling beach. Lady's Pension Coo has no website so you should check it out on Google Maps and call Mr. Sugita directly at 090-3810-6542 or 0980763368

Miyako Island (Miyakojima), located 300 kilometers south of Okinawa Main Island, is known for some of Japan's best beaches and as a great destination for diving and snorkeling in the coral reefs. The subtropical climate provides mild weather all year around.
The Beaches of Miyako Island
There are picturesque sand beaches for swimming and relaxing. While the beaches are open year round. Best enjoyable months are from April to November when the air temperature consistently tops 25 degrees and the water is very warm.
When enjoying the beaches, beware of strong currents and poisonous creatures such as Habu, Jellyfish, a type of box jellyfish, which is most prevalent from June to October.

It stretches seven kilometers and is suited for swimming and various other water sports. Its white sand beach in the southwestern corner of Miyako usually leads rankings of Japan's best beaches. The beach is also known for beautiful sunsets. There are some showers, toilets and a rental shop.
Access Information:
Miyako Island is a relatively small island, measuring about 25 kilometers from south to north and about 15 kilometers from east to west.
A rental car is the most convenient means of getting around Miyako.

Yonaha Maehama Beach is located in Miyako Island with beautiful sea, and its beauty is overwhelming. This is the most beautiful beach in Japan. The coastline is followed by a white sand beach of about 7km.

Flying from Naha to Miyako Island, Okinawa, October 22, 2014
Flying from Naha to Miyako Island is a short hop lasting less than an hour. In Miyako airport several car rental companies offer their services and you should rent a car. It is very easy to drive around the island and there is very little traffic.
The island contains some of Japans best beaches. We could not see this the day we went because there were no people. This was probably due to the weather.
Note that this upload contains both stills and HD video.

We stayed at a guest house near Maehama Beach, so we went there the first day and it was gorgeous!
We stayed there until sunset and saw cute fish and a rainbow.
Okinawa is an amazing place and really different from the mainland of Japan. I love it and hope to go back.

Not many fancy places to eat on Kurima Island Kurimajima but this one is one of them! My???? pizza was very small sized but very delicious!! I would have loved to have a beer with it but they don't serve any ???? so I had a cafe latte ☕that was as huge as the pizza was small ???? and dear Miki????????♀️had their famous DRAGON FRUIT & Banana Smoothie ???? that looked so beautiful and was half as delicious! then we had to walk back all the very long bridge that we usually admire from the beach close to our hotel!! Happy day out in stunning weather and ocean!!
