Chuiwan (Chinese: 捶丸; pinyin: Chuíwán; literally ball-hitting) was a game in ancient China. Its rules resemble modern golf.
The book Dongxuan lu (东轩録), written by Wei Tai (fl. 1050--1100) of the Song Dynasty, describes how a southern Tang official teaches his daughter how to dig goals in the ground and drive a ball into them. The game became popular by the Song Dynasty; and a work called Wan jing (丸经 -- literally ball-treatise) of the Yuan Dynasty was specially devoted to it. The latest documents about chuiwan in China are from the two paintings of the Ming Dynasty from the 15th century. There is a colour image of the mural painting still preserved on the wall of a Water God Temple in Hongdong, Shanxi. A Chinese scholar suggested the game was exported to Europe and then Scotland by Mongolian travellers in the late Middle Ages. This animation is produced by Mission Hills China, the World's No.1 Golf Club.

中國福建之旅2014.10.30第075集 古鎮已凋零,唯古橋迄立至今.外表風塵僕僕,粉黛未施,有些龍鐘老態;走入橋內,只見木板建構,古色古香,純樸自然,恍如時光逆轉,重回古老世代.
會清橋位於貢川南側的胡貢溪上,建於明末清初,兩墩三孔,連接貢川堡與巫峽頭,橋身長41公尺,寬7公尺,橋面離水８公尺,橋身以丹霞紅石砌成,上架通廊間以亭閣,廊邊還設有坐凳,以供過橋人歇息.會清橋上長廊兩端有門樓,中部是升起的橋亭,橋屋採取五架抬梁式,門樓四面坡屋頂,飛簷翹角,屋簷下有如意斗拱,彩繪,泥塑裝飾.橋亭是單簷歇山屋頂,正脊上也有魚吻,下方有方型藻井神龕,內奉“元天上帝”.由於會清橋座落在較混濁的胡貢溪和較清澈的沙溪匯流處,因此被命名為會清橋.

What is the Song of Time Project?
The Song of Time Project is a multi-media project presented by 泛音堂 (Funtune), to be carried mainly by several songs and music videos, based on an original webnovel written by 苍白 (Cang Bai). The project covers several different genre, including pop, Chinese traditional, electronic, dance, rock, and New Age music, and typically includes official versions sung by 12 singers and several vocaloids. The setting lies in a fictional world called Varlhun (维尔哈伦), a land containing four nations with their own set of cultures. The story revolves around a young boy and his journey to find his missing friend, the prince of the Wong Empire. Meanwhile, Varlhun is in the midst of an international energy crisis following the end of the Agnesa-Fersares war. With each country trying to gain the upper hand in this energy war through secret, underhanded political manoeuvres, the delicate peace comes to an end…

A Bite of China: Season 2 (2014) is a documentary made by CCTV about the relationship between food and people in China.
In addition to serving as a great collage of local cuisines, the show is documentary-making of the highest caliber. I have been inspired by its content and quality to provide a translation of the narrations and dialogues in the video to the best of my ability, matching the proper nouns with their English counterparts and capturing the nuances of the language as much possible.
I hope my translation will help people all over the world who cannot speak Chinese appreciate the breadth and depth of Chinese cuisine and the effort and ingenuity that go into it. Comments and suggestions related to my translation are welcome!

The Longsheng Rice Terraces, also called the Longji Rice Terraces, are located in Longsheng County, about 100 kilometres (62 mi) from Guilin, Guangxi, China. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountain top, between 600 m to 800 m above sea level. A coiling terrace line that starts from the mountain foot up to the mountain top divides the mountain into layers of water in spring, layers of green rice shoots in summer, layers of rice in fall, and layers of frost in winter. The terraced fields were mostly built about 650 years ago. Longji (Dragon's Backbone) Terraced Rice Fields received their name because the rice terraces resemble a dragon's scales, while the summit of the mountain range looks like the backbone of the dragon. In early June, water is pumped over the rice paddies and young plants are transferred to the main terraces.
The Elephant Trunk Hill (Chinese: 象鼻山; pinyin: Xiàngbí Shān) is a hill, landmark and tourist attraction in Guilin, Guangxi, China. It is the symbol of the city of Guilin. It got its name because it looks like an elephant drinking water. The round opening that would be under the elephant’s trunk is known as Water-Moon Cave because at night the reflection of the moon can be seen through the arch and it looks as if it is under the water and floating on the surface of the water at the same time. Elephant Trunk Hill and Water-Moon Cave are located at the confluence of the Taohua River and the Lijiang River

Perfect Ghost I
Lin Di (林笛; pinyin: Lín Dí) is a Chinese musician, composer, and vocalist. She was born in 1975 in Shanghai, China.
Her current band is Cold Fairyland, a progressive rock band in which she plays pipa and keyboard synthesizers, and also sings.
Lin began playing pipa at age 4. She studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she majored in traditional Chinese music and pipa, graduating in 1997.
She started her own band Cold Fairyland in 2001 with bass guitarist Su Yong. She also composes original music for various commercial projects and transcribes music (using MIDI) for computer games.
She is also an avid photographer.
