In Yanshui, you find the cannons in the“North sky lanterns, south bee cannon”. Bee cannon is one of three major folk celebrations in the world, so it is both local and international. Yujin Harbor Lantern Festival has recently joined the Lantern Festival to become an emerging cultural event--referred to as an example of taking Taiwanese cultural celebrations international. Yanshui was on the list of 40 classical ancient towns in the“Wandering in small towns in 2019”celebration hosted by Tourism Bureau. The Octal Building and Yongcheng Theater are tourists’ must-see sites in town.

The Yanshui Dist is a very quaint and cultural town. In addition to the Yanshui bee cannon, the Lantern Festival lanterns,David take you to see the ancient architecture of the Yongcheng Theatre.Qiaonan Old Street look at the oldest iron shop in the country for more than 200 years.The famous sheltered palace was originally a Land temple!
