The Bada Tower / 八達樓子 is located in front of Xizai Village. On the top of the crenellated walls—stand the statues of seven brave soldiers armed with guns.
In a battle against the Japanese at Gubeikou in 1933, seven Chinese soldiers of the Changcheng (Great Wall) troop fought and lost their lives in a die-hard defense of the base. In 1963, the Changcheng troop stationed in Little Kinmen built the tower in the image of the Bada Tower on the Great Wall with the statues of the seven soldiers to inspire people.
