Yorkshire Wolds Railway 2019 - extending the train ride.
Development work, funded by a LEADER grant, is shown as we extend the railway to three times it's current length. This will provide visitors with a much enhanced train ride when they arrive on site.

Volunteers make a start on extending the railway southwards into what we refer to as 'Field 2' which, in due course, will provide an extended train ride for our visitors.

Civic event and prizegiving to winning entrants of 'Dreaming of Steam' anthology., 30th April 2017.
Sunday 30th April 2017 saw the Fimber Halt visitor centre, East Yorkshire, host a variety of visiting dignitaries from local council authorities.
In addition was the giving of prizes to the authors of the winning entries to the anthology, 'Dreaming of Steam' by Fantastic Books Publishing.

The Chalkland Way
The Chalkland Way is a 40 mile circular walking route on the Yorkshire Wolds, Britain's most northerly chalk outcrop, linking the villages of Pocklington, Great Givendale, Bishop Wilton, Bugthorpe, Thixendale, Fimber, Wetwang and Huggate.
