This is some footage from a while ago when my friend Julian and I were in Japan. We had stayed in Tokyo but we also wanted to see Yokohama (biggest City in Japan after Tokyo) and Kamakura, which were both not that far from Tokyo.You can't walk through Kamakura without passing tons of beautiful japanese shrines. And Yokohama at sunset is mesmerizing. Definitely worth a visit!

Gujō Hachiman - Gifu - 郡上市 - 4K Ultra HD
Located in central Gifu, Gujō Hachiman seems to be one of those small towns where time passes by ten times slower than usual. At the confluence of the upper Nagara-gawa (river) and the Yoshida-gawa (river), this town, founded in the 16th century following the construction of the Hachiman Castle, is known for two main things. ALPS (decontamination device) Partially restarted, but it cannot filter out ALL the radioactive isotopes, including Tritium, which has shown up in the fish way off the coast of Fukushima. Strontium and cesium. Hey PM Abe, didn't you say all the radiation was contained in the small port just in front of the nuclear power plant?! Jeepers, those fish swim far from there, don't they. What a coincidence that all those marine creatures must have visited that one single location and moved off to the ocean far far away, eh?
Rainwater complicates cleanup... TEPCO released large amounts of rainwater from storage tank area, claiming it tested the water before release I call bullshit that you tested the water before release. as the water makes it's way over the barriers, I guess the water checked it's self for contamination, eh?

Study: cesium from plant staying in forest soil
Researchers at the government-affiliated Japan Atomic Energy Agency installed monitoring equipment in woods of northern Ibaraki Prefecture, near Fukushima Prefecture, in May 2011, 2 months after the accident. They hoped to learn how the cesium moved from fallen leaves to soil.
The results of more than 2 years of research show that rain washed cesium off leaves 6 months after the accident, and that as the leaves decomposed, it moved to the surface of underlying soil.
The researchers found that only about 0.1 to 0.2 percent of the cesium went 10 centimeters deep into the ground each year.
They concluded that underground water very likely has not carried cesium from the soil to nearby areas.
Researcher Takahiro Nakanishi said the results suggest that the cesium has not gone deep underground. He said the findings would be useful in efforts to decontaminate affected areas.
Oh, here's another good one: 2015 Japan-Pacific Island Summit in Fukushima to ... get this... dispel RUMORS of Fukushima radiation.
