Tulum - Yucatán Trip (Part 3)
The episode starts with a small glimpse of beautiful condo we were staying in while in Playa del Carmen Magia Beachside Condo
I was not exaggerating when I said this place was amazing. Not only was it affordable, it was within walking distance to the main strips of Playa.
After breakfast we jumped on a small shuttle van, and headed south of the Riviera Maya to Tulum. A small beach town that, was built late in the thirteenth century, during what is known as the Mayan post-classic period.
The magnificent Mayan Ruins are amazing, most prominent among the remaining structures is the Castillo, or castle, which is settled on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the Caribbean coast.
Tulums elegant setting on sheer limestone cliffs above the turquoise splendor of the crashing Caribbean is a definite must to see and experience.
We were told look for Emilio, that we can't miss him, we did not find him, but we did find a stand in the middle of the beach, with the name Emilio, and soon realized that that was it. lol
We purchased a reef snorkeling tour in Tulum, this was awesome since we would have the boat all to ourselves and two certified professional guides. My first snorkeling experience was so much and its one I will never forget.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, at Revolución Pancho Villa as we watched the sunset over the picturesque Caribbean sea.
We then boarded a taxi cab and made our way back to Playa del carmen. We all got ready, and headed out to enjoy our last night in Mexico,
Coco Bongo in Playa Del Carmen is advertise everywhere, because it's adverts are everywhere. So it came to no surprise that we had to check it out.
Well to cut it short Coco bongo felt like we were all of a sudden in Las Vegas, the service was great, the staff was awesome, and the shows were spectacular. I'm not kidding when I say, it's an experience you should experience.
The next morning, we packed up our stuff, and headed back to the airport in Cancun, to return back home =(…
I know, I say this about all my travels, but this was by far one of my favorite trips! I mean I had so much fun starting with the group of people who I have known for more than 6 years, but never traveled together. They all have amazing qualities, we all common interest and of course we all get along so well. All these personalities meshed extremely well together, and made this trip, such an enjoyable experience for all of us.
And of course thank you again Jacobo and Savanah for inviting all of us to your lovely wedding, you two are perfect together.
