I went on a day trip with my friends and had fun!
I definitely recommend this mountain! There are many activities here such as bungee Jumping and its a beautiful mountain!

White Cloud Mountain has over 30 peaks, Moxing Peak being the highest with 382 meters.
All visited since ancient times, it was already popular before the founding of Guangzhou city.

Baiyun Mountain, formerly romanized as Pakwan, is a mountain range in Guangzhou, Báiyún is Mandarin Chinese for White Clouds, derived from views of the mountain's peaks shrouded in mist during late Spring or after a rain.Its former English name, Pakwan, is a form of the Cantonese pronunciation of the same name. In English, it is also known as White Cloud Mountain. From the foot of the mountain the Baiyun Cableway can be taken 198 meters (650 ft) up the mountain to Peak Park. We were in Guangzhou, China! Today, we take the cable car up to Baiyun mountain. It was the weekend, during the Golden Week. Thankfully we got to the foot of the mountain (or more like hill) early. It would get far more crowded later in the day. Go early!
A walk through Yuexiu Park in Guangzhou
Yuexiu Park is the largest park in downtown Guangzhou, covering an area of 860,000 square meters, it is made up of three artificial lakes and seven hills of Yuexiu Mountain.
HOW TO HIKE BAYIUN MOUNTAIN IN GUANGZHOU
People usually tell me there is nothing to do in Guangzhou... I found this amazing Bayiun mountain for some hiking! Beautiful!
Started the day missing my alarm in the morning so I though not much could be done in this day in Guangzhou, but after some quick research I realized there was this Bayiun mountain that I could go for a hike.
I gather with another friend in the lobby and here we went for this amazing hike.
The way to the top is quite easy with lots of places where you can replenish your drinks or food and in general this hike is quite easy. The view from the top is beautiful!

- The Legend of Five Goats comes from the ancient Guangzhou city, and is an origin of Guangzhou's nicknames like 'City of Five Goats', 'City of the Goat', 'City of the Rice'. It is also the origin of many Guangzhou local brands' names. The name 'Five Goats' can earliest be seen in poetry of Tang dynasty, and the related legendry can be dated back to Jin dynasty. Though the legendary had several versions, it was unified after Ming dynasty. Usually the Legend of Five Goats reflects the history that Lingnan people was colonized by Zhongyuan ancestors. In 2007, this legend was collected into the first batch of The Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity of Guangzhou.
-Yuexiu Park is the largest park in downtown Guangzhou. Covering an area of 860,000 square meters (212.5 acres), it is made up of three artificial lakes and seven hills of Yuexiu Mountain; hence the name.
It is a perfect combination of cultural relics and ecological tourism, reputed for its pretty water and hills as well as cultural relics. The main places of interest include the stone sculpture of the Five Rams, Zhenhai Tower, the site of the Ming Dynasty City Wall, and Square Cannon Site.
-The Five-Ram Sculpture in Yuexiu Park is one of the most famous structures in Guangzhou. It has become the emblem of the city. Legend has it that more than 2,000 years ago, the city was a barren land with people who despite hard work were suffering from famine. One day five immortals in five-color garments came riding on five rams, playing their legendary music. The rams held sheaves of rice in their mouths. The immortals left the sheaves of rice for the local people, gave blessings to the city and left. The rams turned into stone and the city became a rich and populous place. Guangzhou got the name of the City of Rams and the City of Ears.
-Zhenhai Tower, better known among the locals as the Five-Story Tower, is one of the landmarks of the city. An interesting historical record has it that Zhu Liangzu, Yongjia Marquis of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), saw yellow and purple air rising over Yuexiu Mountain and was told by a sorcerer that it was the omen of a new emperor. To subdue this omen, Zhu Liangzu ordered this tower to be built in 1380. Over the past 600 years, the tower has been destroyed five times and set up five times. Now it is the Guangzhou Museum, housing relics and documents showing Guangzhou's history over 2,000 years. Known as the first tower in Lingnan (South of Nanling Mountain) Area, Zhenhai Tower now is 28 meters (91.9feet) high and 16 meters (52.5 feet) wide. The striking contrast of green glazed titles and red walls makes the tower elegant.

Hiking Baiyun Mountain
Recently I had the chance to take a hike up Guangzhou's famous Baiyun Mountain! It was an awesome experience that I highly recommend. They have several different trails that you can take to reach the top depending upon your skill and stamina level. This video takes place on the simplest path that is a paved road that winds around the mountain. The other paths are all stairs, but get you up the mountain quickly. They have a wide range of refreshments available throughout the hike, so packing snacks or a lunch is not necessary. It took about 4 hours to go from the bottom to the top and back down again, and that was taking a slow pace. It is best to go on clear days as the day of this recording was very smoggy and the views were less than impressive. It was a lot of fun though and I would love to do it again.

Today in my mother, father, aunty and I decide to go out to the white cloud mountain for the a great view of guangzhou city and some excellent street food. We headed off to the mountain via taxi and public bus. When we went to a chinese covenience store and purchased some tea eggs. There where a lot of cheap meal and different variations. Then we travelled up to the white cloud mountain via gondola lift or cable car. The view was amazing and spectacular, with relaxing music. Once we arrived at the top we went to see the view of the city!!! After that we went and purchased some amazing tofu pudding, soybean pudding and 豆腐花.
