I was riding my bike in the distant areas of Kyoto when I found this park, it has a beautiful Pond filled with turtules and fish.
behind the park there is an old shrine called Nagaoka Tenman-gu Shrine.

One last amazing Autumn trip before the Winter hits! Good weather, beautiful nature, rich history, spiritual place...It’s just a perfect spot to unwind and find peace of mind. Yukyuzan Park is one of the most visited places in Nagaoka during Spring and Fall season as it has over 2,000 cherry blossom trees that bloom in Spring and change leaves’ colors in Fall. It also has three small shrines, a mini zoo, a wide play ground, a large walk park and a castle shaped-like museum inside it. Its welcoming and lively atmosphere will certainly energize you. You shouldn’t miss visiting this place when you go to Nagaoka City.
