Situated in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo - Henan Province in China, Yuntai National Park is a UNESCO Global Geopark. Yuntaishan (shan means mountain) possesses multiple trekking routes leading to breathtaking views and large waterfalls. The nature around is composed of dense forests of pine and maple trees but also numerous flowers and medicinal herbs that are endemic to the region. Don't miss the scenic spots that include a glass walkway newly constructed for the adventurers not afraid of heights! If you are short on time you can opt for a two-hour trek at the Red Rock Gorge.

The Global Yuntai Mountain Geological Park is located at the south foot of the Taihang Mountain in Xiuwu County of Jiaozuo, China.
The Himalayas Movement, which started 23 million years ago, has upgraded the whole mountain areas, leaving large amounts of geological remains, such as unique stratums, rocks and other mineral resources. With such uniquely-shaped geological structure, the place enjoys a superior advantage in ecological and historical tourist resources.

Yuntai Mountain is situated in Xiuwu County, about 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) from Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. This mountain is among the first group from all over the world that received the title of World Geologic Park from UNESCO in 2004. It is also the only famous scenic area in Henan Province having the titles of National 5A Grade Tourist Attraction, National Forest Park, National Geologic Park, National Water Conservancy Scenic Area and National Macaque Natural Reserve.

The Taihang Mountains (Chinese: 太行山; pinyin: Tàiháng Shān) are a Chinese mountain range running down the eastern edge of the Loess Plateau in Shanxi, Henan and Hebei provinces. The range extends over 400 kilometres (250 mi) from north to south and has an average elevation of 1,500 to 2,000 metres (4,900 to 6,600 feet). The principal peak is Xiao Wutaishan (2,882 metres (9,455 feet)). The Taihang's eastern peak is Cangyan Shan in Hebei; Baishi Mountain forms its northern tip. Tianjie mountain is part of the Taihang Mountain chain in Henan province.

It has not only the North characteristic of vigorous and firm, but also the beautiful Yuntai Mountain Geo-park and Qingtian River.
As a historical and cultural city, Jiaozuo is the central district of early activities of Chinese history and culture and the homeland of many historical and cultural celebrities such as Sima Yi, Han Yu, Li Shangyin, Zhu Zaiyu, Xu Heng, Shan Tao and Xiang Xiu. There is also Jiaying Taoist Temple, Yuanrong Temple, and Miaole Temple. All of these show the long history and rich culture of Jiaozuo.
