MURRAMARANG NATIONAL PARK BEACHES // CHAIN BAY & SNAKE BAY
Fancy a little bit of a hike to discover a beach all to yourself?
In this video Meg takes you on a bit of a hike into 2 beaches you can only access by foot or boat! You wont find a beach like this very often!
Situated in the Murramarang National Park both Snake & Chain Bay are north of Batemans Bay. Chain Bay is the next beach north of Maloney Beach. It used to be a highly visited beach by locals as it boasts pristine turquoise water, great snorkling & even diving! Chain Bay almost never has a wave making it an amazing family beach. Like a scene from a movie most of the time you will have either of these beaches all to yourself and if not they are long enough to have an end each.
The Snake Bay walk is approx a 5.5km return trip with a medium grade track, as we mentioned we ran most of the stairs as a bit of a challenge.
Discover both of these beaches for yourself and let us know what you think...

141. Apex Riverside Park, Longreach Queensland
The Apex Riverside Park at Longreach is the perfect location to stay when visiting. An easy 3 kms out of town situated on the Thompson River the campground provides Toilets, Bins, BBQ's and Water.
In town there is a dump point facility.
The campground is pet friendly.
We had good Telstra and Optus coverage.
We parked near to the toilets as the campground is based on dirt and given where we were we didn't have too many people driving past and therefore didn't find it overly dusty. It does get busy in the afternoon.
The cost to stay is just $3 per day or $15 per week.
Our stay was 29th August to 1st September 2017

Stay in a NSW national park:
About NPWS:
Founded in 1967, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service manages more than 850 protected areas in NSW, Australia, covering over 7 million hectares and including national parks, nature reserves, World Heritage areas, rainforests, beaches, alpine areas and sites of great cultural and historic significance. Management of these areas involves a wide range of responsibilities, including plant and animal conservation, fire management, sustainable tourism and visitation, research, education, volunteering programs and more.
Volunteer with us:
Volunteering is a great way to connect with our environment, meet new people, and experience some of NSW’s finest natural locations. There are many ways you can get involved - join a local bush regeneration group, get your company signed up for corporate volunteering, or become a tour guide.

Inspired by Malhotras the Indian, and dedicated to Joseph 101:)
Music by Amy Winehouse and Union Avenue, I love them!
I'm spewin, I made a fabulous drone movie this morning. Flying backwards in front of the Cat Balou, a beautiful 360 around a pair of Pelicans, etc... Somehow it didn't record:(
So we went to Merimbula for lunch, and won $200 on the pokies! :^)
What’s all the fuss about Seal Rocks
when you drive into seal rocks you will know what all the fuss is about -- the view is breathtaking
Seal Rocks is a small, sleepy and isolated fishing village in the middle of the Great Lakes coastline. Its fame rests largely on the beautiful Sugarloaf Point lighthouse and the sense of isolation it enjoys.
Seal Rocks has a unique warm inviting atmosphere. The village is one of the few remaining coastal villages to have avoided major development, so you will experience a truly relaxing and uninterrupted stay. Here you are a stranger only once and you'll soon be part of the Seal Rocks family.

112. Uluru Free camp, Northern Territory
Uluru Free camp
## unfortunately Uluru by Sunrise Free camp is now closed.
We have been receiving lots of questions about where we are staying at Uluru and here is a full video of the Free camp.
It's approx 10 kms from the town centre. There's no signs or markings, use WikiCamps and your Maps to guide you to the turnoff.
There are no facilities here but it's only 10 mins to town where you can get water from the Petrol station, gas from the caravan park/ Campground and a Dump Point is also available.
It is outside the National Park and therefore our dog MACKS is with us here.
I have both Telstra and Vodafone coverage.
We have views of Uluru plus you can set up a Camp fire. Please be very careful and responsible with your fire.
The cost is Free.
Our stay was 5 nights from 5th to 10th of May 2017
Sorry I picked the only windy day we've had here to do the video lol. We came for 2 nights, then 3, then decided to stay 4 and now it's 5 nights. Uluru has a mystical aura which you really need to experience.
