Ningbo was our first chinese city in northeast Zhejiang province. We had the chance to be in a not very touristic city but with a lot to see. In this city we could visit the 3rd oldest library still functional and also the food is incredible!

2014第19回全國華風盆栽展Taiwan Bonsai Exhibition
日期：2014/11/15(六)－2014/11/23(日)，9天，免費入場。

地點：花博公園（圓山園區）爭艷館
每年一度的全國華風盆栽展是臺灣盆栽界的年度盛事，由中華盆裁藝術全國總會策畫，邀請臺灣各縣市24個盆栽協會在當地展覽經評審選拔最優作品約8至12件來參加全國盆裁華風展，每年參展總件數共約300件精品盆栽，意境非凡、千姿百態，另有雅石共襄盛舉，增添華風展的可看性。
全國華風展到今年已經是第十九回，它代表了幾十年來的盆栽觀念、人文、技藝等等的演化，本展覽深受海峽兩岸及國際所有愛好盆栽人士所肯定，是臺灣精緻盆栽與臺灣軟實力的展示，也贏得了所有愛好盆栽的國內外貴賓高度評價(資料摘自Yahoo)。
Models of Chinese Gardens
This film looks chiefly at the Chinese practice of cultivating miniature trees (a practice known as penzai or penjing, but more famous in the west by its Japanese derivation, bonsai), although we also see miniature gardens as well as tableaus made up of rock formations, ships and pagodas. We also see an art form that I can only describe as tree sculpture. It's a 21-minute film from 1980 that is narrated in Chinese (Mandarin) with no translation. You may not understand the narration, but the examples on display are beautiful to behold and there's a lovely soundtrack of wall-to-wall Chinese background music. Stick with it.
