Copenhagen, Denmark Most Romantic City in the World
Exclusive romantic. Dim light of the street lamps along Copenhagen will bring you and your partner into a serene atmosphere. Castles such as Amalienborg Palace or Ronsenborg Castle and King's Garden, are two places that you must visit. In the courtyard of the castle, you probably will not notice when it started holding hands and kissing under a shady tree. air in the city is quite biting, especially in winter. Warm yourself and your partner by visiting the Thorvaldsen Museum, where a statue of Cupid and Psyche is famous. After that, a romantic dinner would be a lovely Valentine's Day dessert. Some restaurants in Copenhagen presents a panoramic view of the city skyline eyes.

World's Most Beautiful Fanciful Allotment Hut In Denmark
Location: This imaginative little house is located in an allotment garden just twenty minutes by bike from central Copenhagen. The mint-green cottage features a lantern-style roof highlighted by a cupola. An eclectic collection of windows adds to its playful appearance.
Allotment gardens were first established in Denmark in the late 1800s to give city-dwellers a place to grow their own vegetables. The gardeners built tool sheds which, over time, they expanded into huts so that their families could spend weekends and summer vacations there. However as the city grew, the allotment gardens were often developed and the gardeners would have to relocate to new allotments, either moving their huts or dismantling them and rebuilding. As a consequence, allotment huts were typically simple structures built with whatever material was at hand.
In recent decades though, Danish legislators have passed laws protecting allotment gardens, and longer-term leases have given the gardeners more security of tenure. The result has been larger and more elaborate allotment huts, almost rivaling the traditional Danish summerhouse. This fanciful little cottage seems to be taking that trend to an extreme.
At 60 m2 (645 ft2), it is larger than the allotment huts we have previously looked at in Germany and the Netherlands. The cottage’s floor plan takes the form of an octagon with a small wing extending in each compass direction. One of those wings is the entry hall, and another contains the bathroom and a tiny bedroom. The other two are alcoves connected to the central living/dining/kitchen space, with one of those alcoves being used as a bed nook. A small loft over the bed nook provides a third sleeping space.
A wood terrace and brick patio extend the living space into the surrounding garden of fruit trees, flower beds and planter boxes.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Amazing Tiny Glass Treehouse & Co-living (Tuscany, Italy)
This very unique tiny glass treehouse in Tuscany, is definitely worth a trip!
We were shown around by Elena Barthel, an architect who's father designed the house for her and her brother. The treehouse has a stunning view of Florence, and as made of wood, glass and steel. It has a queen size bed that takes up most of the space in the main room, and a little kitchenette and bathroom on either side of the round structure. There's also a fireplace, and an ourdoor terrac
The treehouse belongs to the Barthel family, who lives in the stone houses behind it. The family lives in community with some of their friends, and people who rent houses their it for long and short term stays. It's such a cool place and we had so much fun meeting Elena and their beautiful place!

???? Are You Comfortable Sir? - The Royal Shave with Head Massage at Truefitt & Hill, Mumbai India
*** To find out the stories behind our most popular videos, read our blog post ???????? ***
This is the third barbershop experience we filmed while in Mumbai, India where we aimed to experience barbershops from street-barbers to high-end business class.
In this video I was treated to The Royal Shave at Truefitt & Hill located in Colaba, Mumbai India close to Regal Cinema and The Gateway of India.
Truefitt & Hill describes The Royal Shave as follows: A timeless straight-razor shave perfected since 1805, this classic Royal ritual begins with the wrapping of hot towels followed by exfoliating the face with a scrub. Thereafter, the skin is nourished and massaged with a light-textured pre-shave oil. This makes the beard soft, allowing the razor blade to glide smoothly. A hot towel is wrapped again, an occurrence that is repeated often to help open the pores and relax the customer. Using our handmade badger brush, a small amount of our glycerine-based shaving cream is applied to create a rich and emollient lather. The brush coats each individual whisker with shaving cream ensuring the most comfortable shave possible. Now, holding the skin taut with one hand, the other hand does its magic with a straight-razor. This zen experience of shaving heightens when the Royal Shave concludes with a relaxing facial massage and the application of a selection of 10 aftershave balms/lotions.

Family of 4 in 236 sq ft modern tiny house - Architects selfbuild tiny garden house
Today we're featuring an amazing tiny house that is a modern version of a traditional Danish allotment hut. Back in the day, allotment huts were owned by people living in apartments who didn't have a garden, and who could then use the allotment to grow fruit and vegetables, and to enjoy the fresh air.
The house is 236 sq ft, and every square feet is used for a purpose, with many design details. It was build 9 years ago by Karen Jelnes and her husband before they had children; after they had kids they build bunk beds on top of their own bed, which is a really clever solution.
The house is really beautiful and unique, and they build it small on purpose to make more space in the garden to grow vegetables, berries and fruit that the whole family can enjoy!

SUMMARY
=======
Copenhagen (Danish: København [købm̩ˈhɑwˀn] (listen)) is the capital and most populous city of Denmark. As of July 2018, the city has a population of 777,218 (616,098 in Copenhagen Municipality, 103,914 in Frederiksberg Municipality, 43,005 in Tårnby Municipality, and 14,201 in Dragør Municipality). It forms the core of the wider urban area of Copenhagen (population 1,627,705) and the Copenhagen metropolitan area (population 2,057,737). Copenhagen is situated on the eastern coast of the island of Zealand; another small portion of the city is located on Amager, and is separated from Malmö, Sweden, by the strait of Øresund. The Øresund Bridge connects the two cities by rail and road.
Originally a Viking fishing village established in the 10th century in the vicinity of what is now Gammel Strand, Copenhagen became the capital of Denmark in the early 15th century. Beginning in the 17th century it consolidated its position as a regional centre of power with its institutions, defences and armed forces. After suffering from the effects of plague and fire in the 18th century, the city underwent a period of redevelopment. This included construction of the prestigious district of Frederiksstaden and founding of such cultural institutions as the Royal Theatre and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. After further disasters in the early 19th century when Horatio Nelson attacked the Dano-Norwegian fleet and bombarded the city, rebuilding during the Danish Golden Age brought a Neoclassical look to Copenhagen's architecture. Later, following the Second World War, the Finger Plan fostered the development of housing and businesses along the five urban railway routes stretching out from the city centre.
Since the turn of the 21st century, Copenhagen has seen strong urban and cultural development, facilitated by investment in its institutions and infrastructure. The city is the cultural, economic and governmental centre of Denmark; it is one of the major financial centres of Northern Europe with the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. Copenhagen's economy has seen rapid developments in the service sector, especially through initiatives in information technology, pharmaceuticals and clean technology. Since the completion of the Øresund Bridge, Copenhagen has become increasingly integrated with the Swedish ...

Tiny house built to meet building codes in EUROPE | France, Germany, Denmark, England..
This week, Michael from Tiny House Living is showing us around in their Tiny House model here in Denmark. It's a a 194 sq ft tiny house with 108 sq ft of loft space. On the ground floor is the kitchen, the bathroom and a fold out table, as well as a couch area for relaxation. The master bedroom is on of the lofts, and the lounge area is on the other one. The layout is great and it feel spacious; the ceiling is high and there's lots of storage spaces throughout the house.
We had a chat with Michael about all the rules and regulations there are in Denmark when building houses, and it's great to keep these things in mind when you're considering getting a tiny house. However, the regulations are changing because the politicians here in Denmark are starting to see the possibilities with tiny living, so it might soon be easier and more affordable to build tiny houses. The Scandinavian market for tiny houses and small living is growing, and we're very excited about it!! :)
Prices start around 70.000 USD and go up to around 120.000 USD

AMAZING Tiny House | Modern minimalist interior design (NL - Europe)
We came across this stylish modern tiny House / Apartment designed by a Dutch architect Tjeerd Bloothoofd. It's built outside The Hague (Den Haag) in Holland, and it's used as office space, but it's has everything you need to live in it full time. Very nice minimal interior design, with clear lines and a light and clean touch and feel ot the interior layout.
The space is 26 Kvm (280 Sq.Ft.) and it cost 40,000 Euros ($44,000) to build.
It's a stationary Tiny House, meaning that it has no wheels. The architect has designed it so it can have solar panels on the roof. You can also choose to use the roof area as a green spot to grow vegetables or plants.
It's fully equipped with a small kitchen. It's small but deep, so you have enough space to prepare food and make a cup of coffee. It also has a tiny toilette with a wall-mounted toilet. Inside the main room you find a fold-out bed that can easily fit two persons. There's also a built-in bookshelf with a ladder you can move around to reach the top shelves. The shelving unit reaches all the way from the floor to the ceiling. The owner uses it for work and study, so there's plenty of space for books and binders.
The house can easily be made completely off-grid if you choose to install solar panels on the roof. The architect has designed the roof to have a very nice set of skylights, to let plenty of daylight in. It has under-floor heating, so it won't feel cold in the winter.
Finally, it has a set of sliding blinds outside, that really adds a cozy atmosphere to the house.
