Libo Zhangjiang Scenic Spot(荔波樟江风景名胜区)is located in Libo County, dubbed as a “green gem”. This national scenic area features wild karst forests interwoven with beautiful waterscapes and striking valleys and mountains.
The area, together with the Maolan National Nature Reserve(茂兰国家级自然保护区), an amazingly beautiful karst forest rarely seen in the subtropical zone along the same latitude, was named a World Natural Heritage site in 2007.
Zhangjiang River Scenic Area
Zhangjiang River Scenic Area was listed as the South China Karst of the world nature heritage. The Seven Small Arched Bridge scenic area is the most beautiful. As a combination of forests caves, lakes, rocks, and waters, it enjoys a good reputation as Super Potted Landscape.

We, together with our friends, wanted to spend our 2018 summer in one of the scenic spots of Guizhou. Among the many choices available in Guizhou, we decided to go to Libo County.

1.There are four main scenic areas in this area, such as Gorges of the Shuichun River, the Zhangjiang Farmland Scenic Area, the Daqikong Scenic Area, and Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. Among these, Shuichun River is a wonderful place for drifting.
2.The Maolan National Reserve of Libo, known as “the Only Green Treasury on the Earth” and awarded with the good name of “The Southern Karst of China”, gathers in one place mountains, rivers, cavers, woods, lakes and waterfalls. You can visit the Karst Forest Scenic Spots and the Water Sights in the meantime.

In China, (Chinese: 国家级风景名胜区; pinyin: Guójiājí Fēngjǐng Míngshèngqū; literally: National-level Scenic and Historic Interest Area) is the exact equivalent of the term 'national park' (Chinese: 国家公园; pinyin: Guójiā Gōngyuán) applied to the rest of the world, as specified in the National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB50298-1999: Code for Scenic Area Planning, and in the Green Paper: Situation and Prospects of China's Scenic Areas published by the Ministry of Construction in 1994. National parks in China were officially approved and declared by the State Council. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is in charge of the supervision and administration of national and provincial parks throughout the country.
To date, China has 244 national parks. The ranges and boundaries of these national parks are often extended beyond what the official names might suggest. For example, the Taihu National Park (太湖国家级风景名胜区; overall size [scenic zones + transitional zones]：3,091 km²), stretching across Suzhou and Wuxi, is composed of 13 scenic zones (with a number of scenic spots in each SZ): Mudu, Shihu/石湖, Guangfu/光福, Dongshan/东山, Xishan/西山, Luzhi, Tongli, Mount Yushan, Meiliang Lake, Lake Lihu, Xihui, Mashan/马山, Yangxian/阳羡, plus 2 isolated scenic spots (falling outside the scenic zone): Taibo's Shrine and Tomb.
