Tea House, Antiques and Kaiyuan Buddhist Temple, Quanzhou, China
The Qingjing Mosque had a street behind it with a 100-year old tea house and little hole-in-the-wall shops loaded with antiques. A tea house in China plays a role similar to that of an American cafe. A place for people to gather, chat, socialize while enjoying a cup of tea, with or without small snacks.
It was a short drive from there to Kaiyuan Buddhist Temple, one of the oldest, largest and most important in Quanzhou. Kaiyuan dates back to 686 A.D. and is famous for its East and West Pagodas, the best preserved stone pagodas in China.

Xiamen's Botanical Garden is a nature lover's paradise. The Buddhist Nanputuo Temple, dating back to the Tang Dynasty, is a national treasure. In 2006, Xiamen was ranked as China's second most suitable city for living, as well as China's most romantic leisure city in 2011.
New Overseas Chinese Hotel
The property known as the New Overseas Chinese Hotel is located in the center of Zhoushan City. It is surrounded by the Buddhist-land area, as well as the ocean and many other sights and sounds. This accommodation is found at 12 East Huancheng Lu, or Huancheng Dong Lu, in Zhoushan. The New Overseas Chinese Hotel is 30 kilometers away from Putuo Mountain. The World Ocean Park is also nearby.
There are 148 rooms available at the New Overseas Chinese Hotel. Guests here can look forward to modern comforts like high speed Internet and air conditioning. 南普陀寺是一座有千餘年歷史的佛教寺廟，位於中國福建省廈門市東南五老峰下，面臨碧澄海港，規模在廈門島佛寺中居首位。因其供奉觀世音菩薩，與浙江普陀山觀音道場類似，又在普陀山以南而得名。是一間在閩南和東南亞有相當影響力的佛寺。
南普陀寺始建於唐代末期，當時稱為泗洲寺。北宋時由僧人文翠改建，稱為無盡岩。元代時被廢寺，於明代重建，改稱為普照寺，並遷建於今址。清代初期又因戰亂廢寺，後於康熙22年（1684年）得靖海侯施琅捐資修復並擴建，因增建大悲閣供奉觀世音菩薩與浙江普陀山觀音道場類似，遂更名為南普陀寺。到民國初年，南普陀寺已成為閩南香火鼎盛的佛教寺廟。
文化大革命中，南普陀寺曾遭紅衛兵砸毀，在寺東成立五金電器廠，寺西開闢演武小學和瓜田。文化大革命後於1976年，成立「南普陀寺管理處」，爾後在寺廟臨時主持人妙湛法師的努力下逐步恢復寺院。直至1989年恢復推舉方丈的制度，並於次年撤銷「南普陀寺管理委員會」，成立以方丈、堂主、監院等組成的「寺務管理委員會」。
南普陀寺歷史上屬於臨濟宗喝雲派裔，民國13年（1924年）由住持轉逢和尚改為十方叢林迎納各方高僧大德，並於次年開辦閩南佛學院。民國17年（1928年），當時的方丈太虛和尚赴歐美講學，成為中國首個赴歐美宣傳佛教的和尚。弘一法師曾在1928年至1942年期間多次駐南普陀寺協助閩南佛學院整頓僧才教育，並於1934年與和今法師一同創辦佛教養正院。
南普陀寺占地3萬多平方米，格局為三殿七堂，坐北朝南，依山面海，建築具有獨特的閩南風格。中軸線上的主體建築由南往北依次為天王殿、大雄寶殿、大悲殿和藏經閣。中軸兩側則有左右廂房、鐘樓鼓樓、羅漢堂、功德樓、海會樓、普照樓、太虛圖書館、佛學院教舍等。天王殿前有廣場，廣場前為長寬均約30米的正方形放生池，和約百米長七八十米寬的蓮花池。蓮花池外圍蓋有琉璃瓦頂的矮牆，東西設對稱重檐牌坊式山門，題額為「鷺島名山」，系中國佛教學會會長趙朴初所題。
天王殿
1925年會泉法師住南普陀方丈時重建，為歇山頂重檐躥角式單層磚石、木構建築，闊為五間，前有紅漆大門，後無牆。供奉彌勒菩薩、韋馱和四大天王。
大雄寶殿
1932年轉逢法師重建，為歇山頂重檐躥角式單層磚石、木構建築，闊為八間，綠瓦石柱，金碧輝煌。供奉三世尊佛。
大悲殿
1930年太虛法師重建，八角形三層飛檐躥角式亭閣單層建築，後於1962年改建為鋼筋水泥、木構式。供奉觀音菩薩。(本文摘自維基百科)

Zhoushan, a unique port and tourist city of China, lies at the southern flank of Yangtze River estuary and outer edge of Hangzhou Bay. It is regarded as “Buddhist Paradise on the Sea; also it is well known fo its fishery.
Zhoushan Islands is said to be the largest islands along China's coastline, covering a total area of 22,000 km², of which an area of 20,800 km² is sea. It features in fascinating islands landscapes. It is a group of over 400 islands off the northern coast of Zhejiang province. Among those islands, Zhoushan Island is the largest one, and it is the fourth largest island of China.
These islands were initially brought under regular Chinese administration in the 8th century, after which they were administered from Shanghai on the mainland. The significance of these islands were that they provided excellent harbours for the flourishing trade linking Japan, the Ryukyu Islands, and the Zhejiang ports of Ningbo as well as Hangzhou.
The main attractions of the Zhoushan Islands are:
• Zhujiajian Island: The fifth largest island in Zhoushan Islands, it has the fame The Oriental Hawaii;
• Putuo Mountain: China's One of the Four Holy Buddhist Mountains;
• Shenjiamen fishing port: China's largest Marine fishing port, has Zhoushan's largest seafood;
• Taohua Island: a famous scenic spot collecting the sea, mountains, stones, rocks, holes, temples, flowers, forest, birds, military sites, historical memorially, moya carved stone, myths and legends, etc...;
• Dinghai: a famous and unique historic and cultural town in China.
