Recorrido Hidalgo a Querétaro por los túneles de la presa Zimapán más formalmente llamada como Fernando Hiriart, es una presa ubicada en el cauce que une los ríos San Juan y Tula, entre los límites de los municipios de Cadereyta y Zimapán de los estados de Querétaro e Hidalgo respectivamente, y a partir de dicha presa el cauce toma el nombre de Río Moctezuma, cuyo curso a partir de dicho punto es el límite físico de los dos estados mencionados, fue puesto en operaciones el 27 de septiembre de 1996, cuenta con una central hidroeléctrica capaz de generar 292 megawatts de energía eléctrica, su embalse tiene una capacidad aproximada a 1,360 hectómetros cúbicos de agua.

BioCleaner scores a hole in one with Eco friendly solution for ponds, lakes and waterways.
Last April 15, 2013, one unit of BioCleaner was installed in Hole 10 Lake located at the golf course of Country Club Celaya, Mexico. The total area of the lagoon is 8,324 m2 that has an approximate perimeter of 521 meters. Its depth is 1.5 meters which is 12,487 cubic meters of total water with a pH of 6.5.
BioCleaner has provided an efficient and easy solution to make Hole 10 Lake free from odour and sludge, as well as other problems like the increase in Cyano Bacteria, also called Blue Algae (which damage fish and plant life), pollution and chemical issues from fertilizer and pesticide run-off. Difference in the sludge activity was instantly seen in Day 2 of the BioCleaner installation. The solid layer of sludge has risen up and has started to break.
After 5 days of installation, a division of sludge and shiny water can be noticed. The odour has rapidly diminished as well as the layer of sludge that infested the water. The area of microbial density and activity has spread all throughout the lagoon and has started to eat the few remaining sludge. The constant production and increase of microbes has countered the bad microbes that pollute the water.
In a short span of ten weeks, BioCleaner has succeeded in removing the sludge and odour completely from the lagoon. Treating the water with the use of our unit has made the lagoon capable of sustaining aquatic life.
