The reservation of aurochs Dragos Voda - Neamt County Romania

- The Aurochs Reservation and Carpathian Fauna Dragos Voda is one of the 4 such reservations from Romania and its also one of the biggest from Europe dedicated specially to aurochs. Located in the north of the Neamt County, in the village Vanatori-Neamt it represents one of the most visited points in the county.

The reservation was founded in 1968 and it lies on an area of approximately 11,500 ha this is one of the four main protected areas in the National Park Vanatori-Neamt.

The Equestrian Base Piatra Neamt - Neamt County Romania

- The equestrian base Col. Virgil Barbuceanu is located in Piatra Neamt, in the area called Peste Vale (translation Over the Valley), inside the public swimming pool. Together, the swimming pool area and the equestrian base form a wonderful complex to relax, enjoy some sports or just go for a swim.

- The house in which the writer Alexandru Vlahuta was born and raised is located in the monastic village Agapia that also hosts the Monastery Agapia. With the occasion of celebrating 100 years from the birth of the writer, in the year 1958, the house was arranged and inaugurated as a memorial museum

Since 1958 near the Haţeg town (3 km from the city) was created a forest reserve of bison.
The forest reserve Slivuţ is the first place in Romania where European bison has appeared. This happened in 1958 when a pair of bison was brought from Poland.
