Canopy Safari Zip Line Tour, Quepos, Costa Rica
We went zip-lining! The staff from Canopy Safari were very professional and safety minded. Great views of the jungle from high up in the canopy. Not the longest zip-lines, but fun nonetheless. The zip-lines were located not far from Quepos.

With my trusty guide, Rob from Out-Adventures.com I set out for some high flying fun in the jungle around Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Unfortunately he didn't wear the loin cloth I set out for him but we still had some serious Tarzan fun!

Zip Line Review-Canopy Safari-Quepos, Costa Rica
I guess I am biased and, at this time have limited experience when I say that Canopy Safari was the best zip line experience ever-it was my first. This will be the first video of many. Canopy Safari is where my love for zip lining began. THANK YOU ANDRES!!!
This was the first time I used my Sony Action Cam and let's put it this way-I learned from the experience.
October 7, 2015
The day began with the guys picking me up from my hotel in Manuel Antonio at 9 am. First they took me to their office in Quepos to pay and to pick up the other people going on the tour. Since it was the rainy season, there were only 8 people taking the tour. I planned my trip based upon the fact that during the rainy season there are fewer tourists. The cost was around $85 and it included the transportation to and from my hotel, zip lining, and a wonderful lunch prepared by Dona Margarita.
Then we traveled to the zip lining location. The road got a little bumpy closer to the location for obvious reasons. When we reached the location there was a nice little building with a very rain forest feel to it, a butterfly farm and a serpentarium. We got geared up and given the safety instructions. There were 10 lines in total and I must say my favorite part was about half way through the tour, we were taught to zip line upside down if we wanted to. Not all zip line companies will allow you to do this, so whenever possible I highly recommend you try it. Andres teaches you to do it safely. He was very knowledgeable and very funny! Near the end of the tour it started to rain. I love rain in warm climates, so I enjoyed it. When we returned to the starting location, Dona Margarita had prepared a buffet style meal for us that was absolutely wonderful and we were given warm mint-scented towels to wipe our faces and hands before eating. During the tour Alejandro, the Canopy Safari photographer/videographer follows and collects images for you. While we were eating he had a slide show going of our pictures from the day. The pictures were made available for purchase and he emails you a link to download from. The price was very reasonable, if I remember correctly it was around $15-$20. I also had the footage from my action camera which was nice-not all places allow you to use the adhesive mounts on their helmets-Canopy Safari allows it.
The only thing I wished for was a t-shirt to purchase.
