Russia Sochi Riviera Park Petting Zoo
In this travel vlog we will visit a petting zoo in Sochi Russia. One of my favorite things to do is pet animals and snuggle them. In this video you'll see bunnies and guinea pigs, dozens of them to be more exact. I'll share with you why I don't like regular zoos and we will find out what happened with my mom's shoes :)

Russia: Crystal gazing otters predict Sochi Olympic results
Two 'psychic' otters residing in the Sochi Aquarium and Marine Zoo guessed the medal count of three competing Sochi Winter Olympic teams on Wednesday.
The duo, named Garry and Ashley have been hotly tipped for their accurate predictions after successfully guessing the outcomes of football and hockey matches. Last year on February 7, they also predicted Russia's victory at the recent European Figure Skating Championship.
This time round, the otters were offered offered three rings, yellow for Russia, blue for the USA and red for Germany. Otter Garry, who is younger and more active, took initiative in choosing the winner. As soon as the rings got into water, the otter rushed to the yellow ring of the Russian Federation and brought it out of the water, awarding first place to the Games host.
Second came the US team, after a series of dives with the ring. The red ring of the German team remained in the pool.
The aquarium's personnel hope that the otters' knack for foretelling sports results will beat the record of Paul, the now deceased German octopus, who predicted the results for the German team in the 2010 Football World Cup in South Africa.

PAWFUL bond! Leopard and dog became BFFs at Vladivostok zoo
Footage filmed on Saturday, features a leopard cub Milasha and a Central Asian shepherd dog Elza that have become best friends at a Zoo in Vladivostok.
According to the zoo veterinary Viktor Agafonov, it was a very well-known story when leopard Milasha’s mother left her cubs and Golden Retriever Tessy helped out and wet-nursed Milasha.
Agafonov said that the leopard has grown but continues its communication with dogs.
She needs communication with her wild relatives that have a similar size and mores. It’s, definitely, not a human being, he added.
Agafonov went on to say that the decision was made to put Milasha with a Central-Asian shepherd dog Elza since Elza has wet-nursed tiger Alexa and lion Astra, adding it is very experienced in communication with wild cats.
The veterinarian also mentioned that Milasha and Elza are best friends and Elza tolerates Milasha's mores and jinks.
This is a very unusual story of a dog and a leopard, Agafonov concluded.

Putin, Xi Admire Pandas at Zoo
Chinese President Xi Jinping presented two pandas to the Moscow Zoo at a ceremony with Vladimir Putin, in Moscow, Wednesday, June 5, in a gesture the Russian president described as a sign of deepening trust and respect between the two powers.
Xi unveiled the pandas -- Ru Yi and Ding Ding -- after talks with Putin, whom he called his best friend at the start of a three-day visit that will see him attend Russia's flagship economic forum in St Petersburg later this week.
The pandas, which could be seen chomping bamboo as Xi and Putin arrived, will be living in a specially built enclosure. Beijing has loaned them to Moscow for 15 years as part of a joint research project. (Reuters)

Footage of the liger cubs in their home at the zoo shows their adoptive mother feeding and licking the babies.
Ligers are hybrid animals with lions as fathers and tigers or female ligers as mothers.

Russian Zoo Adopts A Black Goat Named Obama
Calling the newest addition to their menagerie a rare, exotic animal, a Russian safari park has adopted a black goat named Obama.
Goat in Russian is an insult used for obtuse, obstinate and headstrong people.
The Primorsky Safari Park obtained the animal from a farmer in Sochi. The farmer had named it after the U.S. president.
According to a statement from park director Dmitry Mezentsev, officials first tried to take the creature to one of Vladimir Putin's residences but were informed the Russian president holds no meetings with goats.
He added: Guarantees were required that Obama would bring no pests, that Obama has no tapeworms etc.
