Nikita by Elton John was playing in the background in the lobby. Great song btw. This is a VERY NICE elevator and I was not expecting this in here since all the other surrounding buildings had DOVER Impulses or OTIS Series 1s. Installed in 1999.

AMAZING FIND! I thought I would never see a ThyssenKrupp escalator before! I must be one of the only filmers who found one! And these rode great (despite these were public in Emeryville) but ThyssenKrupp, you deserve 2 Thumbs up!

This is a Schindler 300A possibly originally with RT but now has Adams. It may have been replaced but I think it is original and a custom 300A with Adams. Installed in early 1990's.

I noticed that this theatre has four stories instead of two. The floors are labeled, 1, 1M, 2, & 2M. I'm still curious about what might be on 1M and 2M. Probably storage for making the best films in the world.
