KLIA2 2019
Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2), situated in Sepang, is the world's largest airport for budget airlines. It is located approximately two kilometres away from KLIA's Main Terminal Building (MTB), and has its own runway and air traffic control tower. Replacing the former KLIA Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), budget carriers using KLIA2 include home-grown airlines Air Asia and Malindo Air, the Philippines' Cebu Pacific Air, Singapore's Tiger Airways, and Indonesia's Lion Air.
KLIA2 consists of two main buildings that are connected with a 300-metre Skybridge, namely the Main Terminal Building (MTB) and the Satellite Building. All domestic and a number of international arrivals are from MTB while Satellite caters solely for international arrivals and departures.

Mitsui Outlet Park Shopping Mall in KLIA SEPANG (MOP) Malaysia: Rush Shopping Hours
Went to this mall because I had some hours to spend at KLIA2.
The mall is called Mitsui Outlet Park located in KLIA SEPANG, also known as (MOP) in short form. MOP is a factory outlet for shopping nearby the two Airports, KLIA and KLIA 2.
This factory outlet shopping mall is located 60km away from KL City and is just about 6km only from KLIA and KLIA2.
Since they offer a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport terminal, we took a free bus ride to visit it. Free baggage storage service is available too, so we don’t have to worry about where to put our huge m luggages.
Therefore, if you want to do rush shopping hours before your flight, you can go to Mitsui Outlet Park at here. They do have unlimitted promotion deals that you will enjoy, with myriad of upper-middle to high-end off seasoned brands and products at attractive discount.
Besides, there is a Japanese Specialty Store (Japan Avenue) where you can find Japanese stuff. However, the Japanese seems to be a bit expensive.
Of course, there are food store selling food tanging from authentic Malay cuisine, oriental to western delights, cafes and as well as food court is also available for visitors to fill their stomach.

Auf die Schnelle ein paar Eindrücke vom neuen KLIA 2, dem Low Cost Airport Kuala Lumpur (früher LCCT).
Sie sehen die zu durchquerende Shopping Mall gateway@klia2, den verbindenden Aussenbereich mit Sicht auf das Rollfeld und AirAsia Flugzeug, sowie das Main Terminal des Billigflug Terminals.
KLIA2 ist ein eigenständiger Low-Cost Carrier Terminal am internationalen Flughafen Kuala Lumpur in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia, etwa 45 Kilometer Luftlinie vom Stadtzentrum Kuala Lumpurs entfernt.
KLIA 2 liegt etwa 2 Kilometer vom Internationalen Flughafen KLIA entfernt und verfügt über eine eigene Start- und Landebahn sowie einen Flugsicherungs Tower.
Durch den Neubau wurde der ehemalige Low-Cost Carrier Terminal LCCT ersetzt.
Es ist der weltweit größte und mit 4 Mrd. RM Baukosten (ca. 894 Mio. Euro) teuerste Low Cost Carrier Flughafen.
Hier ein paar Daten:
bebaute Fläche 257.000 qm, 68 Abfluggates, 8 Vorfeldpositionen, 80 Fluggastbrücken sowie eine Verkaufsfläche von 35.000 m² mit insgesamt 160 Geschäften, Restaurants und Bars im Mainterminal und weiteren 170 Einzelhandels und gastronomische Einrichtungen in der angeschlossenen Shopping-Mall gateway@klia2.
Das Terminal verfügt über eine aufwendige Sky-Bridge, die Main- und Satelitte Terminal miteinander verbindet. Die 6.490 überdachten Parkplätze im 8 stöckigen Parkhaus bieten ausreichende Parkmöglichkeiten.

KLIA2 is the Airport terminal in Kuala Lumpur for LowCostCarriers in Malaysia. It was called before LCCT but the name has changed to KLIA2. KLIA is the original international airport. KLIA2 is getting very convenient. We can come from KL Sentral by train as well. It's the modern airport and maybe now better than original KLIA. KLIA2 is made as very convenient, modern and relaxing place. I use Air Asia from/to Tokyo to/from Kuala Lumpur, we'll use this KLIA2 from now on. It's still under construction for some places, but surely it will be the awesome airport. I'm very happy. Things are changing and moving for better. We need to grow ourselves to catch those movement as well.
