Eric Clark's Travel Videos - Zagreb Croatia - Dolac Market. 1 of the Top 10 Tourist Sites
Eric Clark's Travel Videos - Zagreb Croatia - Dolac Market. 1 of the Top 10 Tourist Sites
I am visiting the top 10 tourist sites in Zagreb. So you can see them before you come. = )
From Wikipedia
Dolac (pronounced [dɔ̌lat͡s]) is a farmers' market located in Gornji Grad - Medveščak city district of Zagreb, Croatia. Dolac is the most visited and the best known farmer's market in Zagreb, well known for its combination of traditional open market with stalls and a sheltered market below. It is located only a few dozen meters away from the main city square, Ban Jelačić Square, between the oldest parts of Zagreb, Gradec and Kaptol. The Dolac market Zagreb is centrally located right behind the town’s main square.
The daily market, on a raised square a set of stairs up from Jelačić, has been the city’s major trading place since 1926. Farmers from surrounding villages come to sell their home-made foodstuffs and very fresh fruit and vegetables. In the covered market downstairs are butchers, fishmongers and old ladies selling the local speciality sir i vrhnje (cheese and cream). Flowers and lace are also widely available. Alongside, the renovated fish market, ribarnica, sells fresh produce every day but Monday.[1]
My name is Eric Clark and I am a world traveler. I have been around the world a few times and decided to help fund my travels by sharing my videos and pictures. I have been to almost every country and would be glad to give tips and pointers. Drop me a note. = )

We owe that thanks to ERC for reaching out and showing us the best way to rent a car!
Zagreb to Zadar is a nice stretch of road, about 300km, and the road trip itself takes about 4 hours to drive if you're cruising. Taking your time and enjoying the beauty of Croatia is recommended, it's a stunning country that you should definitely travel to.
This video was sponsored by EasyRentCars, but the opinions shared and experience we had with the car rental are transparent and honest. We genuinely will use ERC for our next car rental and recommend you do as well:

CRAZY DUBROVNIK STORIES | Old City Walking Tour | Sail Croatia Day 3 of 8
Dubrovnik has some crazy history so today we made our way from the port and took a walking tour of the old city. Sail Croatia... ⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇
A walking tour of Dubrovnik seemed like the best way to learn about the old town, the city history, the walls and castle development and just how the old town came to be. We weren't wrong. Beyond the Game of Thrones fame, Dubrovnik has an incredible past.
History ranging from attacks, bombs, fires and more have shaped the city of Dubrovnik to where it is today. This tour was only an hour long and gave us so much insight into Croatia as a whole, while also providing a great tour of the Dubrovnik town inside the walls as well.
This is day 3 of our Sail Croatia Explorer Cruise and we LOVE IT! We were docked in the Dubrovnik Port, well actually it's Port Gruz, and made our way in to the city for one of the optional excursions provided by Sail Croatia.
Sail Croatia is known for it's Navigator cruise, it's more tailored towards the party vibe and younger crowds. We were so pleased to hear they also offer multiple other cruises and the Explorer cruise was right up our alley! Check out the Sail Croatia Explorer Cruise here:

SPLIT FIRST IMPRESSIONS | Zagreb To Split Bus | Croatia Travel Vlog
Arriving in Split, Croatia! Today we travel from Zagreb To Split on a bus and see more of Croatia and it's coast line in this vlog.. ⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇ Learn to travel full-time:
Welcome to Split! We've heard so much about this little coastal town in Croatia that we knew we'd have to travel here soon. Fortunately grabbing a bus or train is easy via so we had a cheap and easy bus ride!
Split is definitely a beautiful place, the old streets have a lot of charm but it's got that coastal Croatian feel that you just can't avoid! Hopefully that comes across in this travel vlog anyway, it was Sep 2018 we visited.
Travel to Split seems really straight forward because of it's popularity and there is always a bus or boat coming and going! Getting in and out of the city is definitely straight forward and for the most part our journey from Zagreb To Split was painless.

550,000 PEOPLE CELEBRATED HERE! | Zagreb Square & Cathedral | Croatia Travel Vlog
Croatia came 2nd in the football world cup and 550k people celebrated in Ban Jelačić square, Zagreb! Before the cathedral...⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇ Learn to travel full-time:
While Zagreb was home to the football ceremony, and Ban Jelacic square was the end place, it does sound like it was 550,000 people in total came out for the drive from the airport... so sure, not all those people were crammed in here around the square but cool nonetheless.
Just up from the Ban Jelacic square is the Zagreb cathedral, which is the tallest building in Croatia. Inside the church is stunning, as you would expect, but I didnt want to film too much for this travel vlog. Partly because it feels a bit sacred, partly because people are in there having private time and praying. Regardless, if you visit Ban Jelacic square it's worth popping up and seeing the cathedral as well!
It's a shame we werent a few weeks earlier to be around Croatia during the World Cup, but to be in the square and imagine the ceremony was cool either way.

TASTING CROATIAN FOOD, BEER & COFFEE | Strukli in Zagreb | Croatia Travel Vlog
In Zagreb we taste Croatian food, beer & coffee and review the best dishes in Croatia. Strukli is our go to food choice in Zagreb...⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇ Learn to travel full-time:
People told us Croatian cuisine was amazing and we'd have to hunt out some food very quickly, in particular Strukli while in Zagreb. Our Airbnb host explained about Zagorski Štrukli, which is from/famous in Zagreb, and why the dish should be high on our list of the best food to try in Croatia. Should note, it's proper spelling is Zagorski Štrukli which we struggled a little to pronounce, sorry!
We got a taste for Strukli as well as some local craft beer and coffee that was roasted in the region. Safe to say that every bit of the Croatian cuisine we experienced in this travel vlog was top notch!
So maybe it's true, maybe the food in Croatia is some of the best in the world. Watch the vlog to see what we think on the dishes we try and how we rate our experience in Zagreb hinting out the best we can find.

COST OF LIVING ZAGREB, CROATIA | Digital Nomad Guide
*All prices noted in the video are as of April, 2019. Prices may vary/fluctuate.
After documenting our RV life and how much it cost, as well as our cost of living in Florida, we decided we want to show you the same in various cities around the world. We are spending 2.5 weeks in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. We've rented an apartment and have been documenting our expenses. In this video, we show you the cost of dining out, groceries, mobile/cell phones, gyms, public transport as well as some of our favorite cafes/coffee shops to work at for a couple of hours each day.
We almost always use Airbnb to rent an apartment for an extended period of time when we are traveling. Its the most convenient way to have a place booked so we can hit the ground running when we land. Its also the most comfortable so we can use it as a work space and having a kitchen allows us to make a lot of our own meals.

Exploring Zagreb, Croatia! Food, Markets & Attractions | Travel Vlog Day 2,3
Today I went to explore the old city of Zagreb Croatia. It was 10 minutes walk from Hostel Temza to the Central square. Saw Ban Josip Jelačić statue, Zagreb cathedral and walked to Dolac Market. Then, I went to St Mark's church which is a top tourist attraction. After that, I went to a restaurant called Purgur which was recommended by the hostel to try local cuisine. I ordered beef stew and a beer which cost total of $18 USD. For dinner, I got some cooked food from the supermarket. #croatia #travel #travelvlog #vlog #explore #vacation #adventure #zagreb #video #food #market #city #attractions #time #fun #top #trending #popular #dream #want #discover #follow #tourist #tour #document #beautiful #wow #amazing

ZAGREB COST OF LIVING | Monthly Digital Nomad Croatia Living Costs
Cost of living in Croatia vlog. Today we share our monthly living costs as digital nomads in Zagreb... ✈ How to become a digital nomad:
We recently covered a cost video on Croatia, as we walked around the streets of Zagreb covering some daily costs along with some of our more broad living costs by day. Todays video goes deeper into our monthly costs as digital nomads in Zagreb.
This is a pure cost of living video for a 30 day period in Zagreb, of course it is purely based on our experience only so should be used as a guide to work out your own costs if you plan on planning your travel here or passing through Croatia.
We probably should mention how cool Croatia is and Zagreb in particular. Zagreb is a highly underrated city and one of our fav places that we've stayed longer termish as digital nomads. Great internet speeds, good coffee and pretty decent living costs are all perfectly aligned with the nomad lifestyle.
I mentioned a bunch of links and resources in the video, I think this was all of them:

Rick Steves European Travel Talk | In this talk, Rick Steves' guidebook co-author Cameron Hewitt shares advice for traveling along Croatia's Dalmatian Coast: the Roman villa-turned-bustling-city, Split; the Pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik; and some charming seafront villages. He'll also dip into neighboring Slovenia with stops in the Julian Alps, Lake Bled, and the delightful, small city of Ljubljana. Download the PDF handout for this class:
