uShaka Marine World is a 16-hectare (40-acre) theme park which was opened on 30 April 2004 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It comprises 5 sections: uShaka Sea World, uShaka Wet 'n Wild, uShaka Beach, uShaka Village Walk and, uShaka Kids World. It is located on the strip of land between the beachfront and the harbour. It was the first phase in the redevelopment of the Durban Point.

Another great day at a local South African water park - Wet 'n Wild at uShaka Marine World in Durban.
A great place to take the family for a day in the sun. It's got everything from the lazy river to one of the highest slides in Africa. Then there's the aquarium, dolphin show, penguins and seals.
It's well sheltered from the wind, so it's great for those days when you get blown off the beach.

In May of 2015. My Class went on a camp in Kwa-Zulu Natal - a province of South Africa. On one of the days, we visited uShaka Marine World in Durban. This video was a product of our fun.
This video was made using footage shot on 08 May 2015 by myself and friends.

Shark attacks a diver at UShaka Marine World aquarium in Durban South Africa
Diver went into the aquarium to tranquilize a pregnant shark, but things went wrong and he was attacked viciously by the shark.
Luckily he lived to tell the tale of the horrific near death experience
