Rivière-du-Loup est une ville du Québec au Canada située sur la rive sud du fleuve Saint-Laurent à 200 km au nord-est de la ville de Québec. La ville est le chef-lieu de la municipalité régionale de comté (MRC) de Rivière-du-Loup dans le Bas-Saint-Laurent . La nouvelle ville Rivière-du-Loup a été créée le 30 décembre 1998 à partir du regroupement de la ville de Rivière-du-Loup et de la municipalité de la paroisse de Saint-Patrice-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup. HWY 401 - ONTARIO/QUEBEC BORDER - AUTOROUTE 20
In the video, Highway 401 at its eastern-most-end location, it all starts in Windsor, Ontario and Ambassador Bridge and continues for 825 km (515 miles) all the way to Quebec Border when it turns to AutoRoute 20 Quebec.

Parc de la Jacques Cartier - Quebec Hike - Travel Canada
A beautiful weekend well spent in Parc National de la Jacques Cartier and Quebec city. Hikes, Kayaking, Canoeing and much more is offered in this amazing nature park less than a hour's drive away from Quebec city. Here's a video of one of the multiple hikes available to explore. If you're more of a city person you should try the small historical walk adequately named Promenade des Gouverneurs. Absolutely beautiful ! Enjoy !
Riviere du Loup
We crossed over the St Lawrence to Riviere du Loup, where we stayed in the excellent Youth Hostel. We had planned to stay two nights but ended up staying four. It was a pleasant town and great accommodation.
The whale trip was a disappointment. We saw very small glimpses of the beluga whales and had one look at a baby hump back that surfaced briefly for air. No time to film any of them. At least we have the movies from Newfoundland where we had a much more successful whale-watching cruise.

In Old Québecs erlebst Du einen ganz besonderen Charme, besonders an den historischen Orten, typisch kanadischem Essen, bei lokalen Künstlern und einem ganz tollen Blick über den Sankt-Lorenz-Strom. Zu Fuß, ist die beste Art, Old Québecs zu erkunden und zu entdecken.
Starten kannst Du am Parliament Building, welches das älteste Gebäude Old Québecs ist und 1886 fertiggestellt wurde. Nachts, wenn es beleuchtet ist, beeindruckt das Gebäude besonders.
Die Plains of Abraham sind vom Parliament Building aus, bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. In unmittelbarerer Nachbarschaft befindet sich auch das Musée National des Beaux-Arts, wo Du über 38.000 Kunstwerke aus vier Jahrhunderten der Québec Kultur bewundern kannst.
Citadelle of Québec – Reiseziele 2017 Québec
Die Citadelle of Québec erreichst Du von der Abraham-Ebene aus in Richtung Osten. Auf dem Weg gelangst Du zur historischen Stadtmauer mit dem Porte Saint-Louis, einem prächtigen Steintor von 1694. Von hier aus sind es nur noch wenige Minuten, die Citadelle of Québec ist in Sicht, Du kannst Sie keinesfalls verfehlen. Perfekt ergänzen lässt sich diese Tour mit einem Besuch des Regimentsmuseums.
Ein weiterer Höhepunkt ist ein Rundgang auf den Stadtmauern Old Québecs. Dabei kannst Du Deinen Blick über die wunderschöne Altstadt und den Sankt-Lorenz Strom schweifen lassen.

In der Québec Natur ist der Schnee jedes Jahr allgegenwärtig. In zahlreichen Städten türmt sich der Schnee über drei Meter hoch und in den angrenzenden Bergen ist er teils unüberwindbar.
