1. StonehengeAmesbury Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England, 2 miles west of Amesbury. It consists of a ring of standing stones, with each standing stone around 13 feet high, 7 feet wide and weighing around 25 tons. The stones are set within earthworks in the middle of the most dense complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England, including several hundred burial mounds.Archaeologists believe it was constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC. The surrounding circular earth bank and ditch, which constitute the earliest phase of the monument, have been dated to about 3100 BC. The repatriations of two servicemen killed by what appeared to be Afghan police officers in Afghanistan took place today.
Corporal Brent McCarthy, of the Royal Air Force Police, and Lance Corporal Lee Davies of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards were killed on Saturday.
After a private ceremony at RAF Brize Norton their cortege passed the Memorial Garden at Carterton.

The weather was perfect on day 25 :) In the morning, we talked about camping in New Zealand with Geoff from the Tourism Industry Association. After lunch in Wellington we drove to Hawke's Bay and had dinner and watched the sunset on the top of Te Mata Peak.
