ACHLADIES BEACH - One of the TOP 10 Skiathos Beaches, Greece

Achladies Beach is located on the south coast of Skiathos island, about 5 km from the capital.
The name means PEAR TREES.
There is no village, just the Esperides Hotel (4 stars), apatrments and couple of beach tavernas.
Achladies Beach is a strip of fine golden sand with surrounding area heavily planted with olive and citrus.

SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go to the beautiful Greek island of Skiathos and let's visit the amazing (due to its location and views) Kastro (or Fort). Built on a rocky peninsula around 1360 in order to protect the local residents from pirate raids, the fort could only be attached from a small ridge that connected it to the mainland of the island. It was abandoned in 1829 when Greece was liberated from the Turkish occupation and the locals were finally able to return and to re-establish the modern city of Skiathos. We are going to walk all over and visit the most important sites, we are also going to enjoy the spectacular views.

The beach takes its name from the island opposite with the domed shape that resembles church dome (Troulos in Greece)
