Agliano Terme is a comune in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres southeast of Turin and about 12 kilometres southeast of Asti. Agliano Terme borders the following municipalities: Calosso, Castelnuovo Calcea, Costigliole d'Asti, Moasca, and Montegrosso d'Asti. Traditionally called simply Agliano , the Terme was added in recent times to draw attention to the presence of thermal baths, a tourist attraction.

Casa Tavasso was built in the 1700's, and it was owned by the Medici del Vascello family, who were deputy to the Kingdom Of Piedmont. The structure has been recently restructured and furnished with period furniture.
Casa Tavasso can be found just outside the centre of Asti (Quarto Superiore), and offers large rooms all with en-suite bathrooms, a mini-appartment, rooms suitable for the physically challenged, a small gym and sauna and gastronomic tours, just to name but a few!
