- Exploring Tulum ruins
- Coba & Punta Laguna tour with Ko'ox (loved it but didn't end up doing some things listed in tour so when booking ask specifically what you'll be seeing with your tour guide. We didn't mind much that we didn't do everything - the day was busy!) :
- Akumal Beach for swimming with turtles

Youre coming down to Tulum so naturally you want to research .. What is there to do in Tulum? Find out some of the Things to do in Tulum. The town of Tulum itself, is quite small, therefore a lot of the things to do in Tulum, are in the surrounding areas. Tulum sits off the water by about a kilometer but of course the reason it is on the map is because of the Mayan Riviera itself. Starting south of Cancun, Tulum has been exposed as people visiting Cancun came further south through Playa del Carmen and eventually onto Tulum. Tulum beach is a must, but you do need someone to tell you that. If you are looking for my Top 5 Things to do in Tulum, this video will outlay those for you. Remember, this is my personal opinion of what to do in Tulum having lived in the area for a few years. I am not saying these are the ONLY things to do in Tulum, or exactly what you should do in Tulum, but a few different ideas to check out different things and select which you feel is a fit for you to do while in Tulum, Mexico.

Here are my personal Top 5 Things to do when you are coming down to Playa del Carmen. Playa del Carmen was put on the map because of the traffic of tourism attracted to Cancun, and eventually Playa del Carmen was going to be discovered. A few decades ago, Playa del Carmen, which is now one of the fastest growing towns in the world, was nothing more than a small fishing village. With the expansion of tourism along, what is now known as the Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen has grown at an incredible rate, all thanks to tourism. As you can imagine, with tourism, influx of money and people, there is a strong need for things to do, activities and tourist attractions while in Playa del Carmen. Of course, it is known for the beaches but people these days want more than just sitting on a beach, especially when you are coming down for longer than a week, or an indefinite trip.
