Tagaytay City in the Philippines is home to some of the most stunning views of Taal Volcano. This Dormant Volcano is the backdrop to numerous resorts, venues and even FAST FOOD chains like Starbucks and Mc Donalds. Believe it or not, some of the worlds nicest Starbucks and McDonalds are in Tagaytay!
We also try a couple FAMILY STYLE FILIPINO FOOD restaurants in the area. Max's Restaurant is a popular filipino food chain that reaches all the way to Los Angeles. Max's is known for their Fried Chicken and it's so popular that they even have a location in the SLEX highway! We also head to Sta Rosa and try Kanin Club!

Balite Falls | Amadeo Cavite 2019
Had an amazing trip going to Amadeo Cavite where the Balite Falls Spring Resort is located. Perfect place to spend summer to beat the scorching heat. Thankful for Val and Soc that they invited us to join them since we experienced some power interruption in our place. The entrance for the falls is 100pesos per person, the table rental costs only 300pesos. Be sure to come early as the resort is open from 7am until 4pm only. Glad we were given some extra time to enjoy since we arrived at 3:30pm. They also have a swimming pool separated from the falls, it will cost only 150pesos per person. They also have free parking. Water is cool, place is clean and peaceful.

Balite Falls-Amadeo Cavite
Balite Falls is located in Amadeo Cavite. We are surprise that the falls are been well developed. As even the surface of the water falls are already concrete like a man made pool. The water was chilly so not been able to dip in to the water. There are signage for the do's and dont's but kinda surprise with some tourists who were not following especially shampooing on the spring side. But me and family enjoyed the place. There several cottages with different prices for the size and style of the cottage. There are few couple air-conditioned rooms convenient for having your own bathroom so good if you wanna rest but only available for day accomodation. There are still more parts for construction like for their event area. The pool have been chilly as well but well maintained and clean.

A short weekend getaway to Tagaytay City.
City of Tagaytay is a component city in the province of Cavite, in the Philippines. It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations because of its outstanding scenery and cooler climate provided by its high altitude. Tagaytay overlooks Taal Lake in Batangas and provides one of the iconic views of the Philippines, the view of Taal Volcano Island in the middle of the lake, viewable from several vantage points in the city.
