Fernab der Touristenpfade im eiskalten Winter-Bibber-Land China zeige ich euch die Ankunft und meine Erlebnisse in Anyang, der Hauptstadt von Henan. Dort begebe ich mich auf Erkundungstour und erfahren viel über die Geschichte, Ausgrabungen, Orakelinschriften und Wahrsagungen, denn ich sehe den Wohnhof der Familie Ma, das Yinxu Museum, die Wenfeng Pagode und Youlicheng - das Exil und Gefängnis des König Wen.
Im nächsten Henan Reisevideo geht es weiter in das unbekannte und geheimnisvolle Linzhou mit seinem Taihang Tal. Mehr gibt es dann im nächsten Teil meiner China Reise!

Day-by-day itinerary:
Day 1: Beijing
Arrival in Beijing. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Beijing
Visit the Forbidden City and the Temple of heaven. Lunch included.
Day 3: Beijing
Visit the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs, and the Sacred Way. Lunch included.
Day 4: Beijing - Handan
Visit the Summer Palace and the Lamas Temple. Lunch included.
Transfer to the railway station. Depart by train for Handan. Transfer to hotel.
Day 5: Handan -- Anyang -- Zhengzhou
Visit Yongnian Ancient town -- native land of the traditional gymnastics Tai Ji Quan, the Old Hongji bridge. After lunch, departure for Anyang (1 hour and half of road).
Visit the Anyang Museum. Lunch included. Depart by train for Zhengzhou. Transfer to hotel.
Day 6: Zhengzhou
Visits the Han Tombs in Mixian, the Zhongyue Temple in Dengfeng, the Pagoda of the Songyue Temple and the Shaolin Temple. Lunch included.
Day 7: Zhengzhou -- Jincheng
Depart for Jincheng with the visits on the way: Caves at Gongyi, Necropolis of Song, Strolls at the edge of the Yellow River, Residence of the family Kang the Millionaire - one of the two rich families in the
north of China at the time of Ming. Lunch included. Arrival at Jincheng in the evening. Transfer to hotel.
Day 8: Jincheng
Visit the Temple of the blue Lotus (Qing Lian Si), the Temple of the jade Emperor (Yu Huang Miao), the Kai Hua Monastery, the Guanyin Temple. Lunch included.
Day 9: Jincheng -- Luoyang
Visit the Residence of the family Chen (Huang Cheng Xiang Fu, regarded as the popular Forbidden City), the Village Guo Yu (where was born the professor of emperor Kangxi). Lunch included.
Depart for Luoyang (4 hours of road). Transfer to hotel.
Day10: Luoyang -- Xi'an
Visit the Long Men Caves. Lunch included. Depart for Xi'an by train. Transfer to hotel.
Day11: Xi'an
Visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the Provincial Museum of Shaanxi. Lunch included.
Day12: Xi'an -- Shanghai
Visit Forest of the Steles, the Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Mosque. Lunch included. Depart for Shanghai by afternoon flight. Transfer to hotel.
Day13: Shanghai
Visit the Yu Garden with walk in the old town, the Temple of the jade Buddha, strolls along the Bund and in the Nanjing street. Lunch included.
Day14: Shanghai
Transfer to the airport for home flight. End of service.

I was in Henan from end-July till August 9, visited a couple of places in Anyang and went to Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng with my boyfriend.

Henan is the birthplace of Chinese civilization with over 3,000 years of recorded history and remained China's cultural, economical, and political center until approximately 1,000 years ago.
& One of the most significant places I have been to in Anyang would be the Yinxu.

On my last (full) day in Shanghai (August 10) I went to the World of Ghibli Exhibition at Shanghai World Financial Center. Studio Ghibli films have always been my favourites, I cannot miss this man! Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, Castle in the Sky, and Ponyo are those that I have watched for more than twice HAHA I really love Studio Ghibli! Ended my last day in Shanghai on a good note HEH
2014 Lantern Festival, Anyang City, China
The Lantern Festival marks the end of the Spring Festival, a two-week holiday to celebrate Chinese New Year. In the lead up to the Lantern Festival, parks and other public places are adorned with red lanterns. On the evening of the festival, flame-powered lanterns are set adrift in the air and a massive amount of fireworks is set off.
