Aguadulce es una localidad española de la provincia de Almería, la comunidad autónoma de Andalucía y el municipio de Roquetas de Mar, situada en la comarca del Poniente Almeriense, a unos 8 km al oeste de la capital provincial, Almería por la carretera nacional (N-340a) y a 14 por la autovía (A-7). El origen de su topónimo se lo debe Aguadulce a los manantiales de agua dulce que brotaban cerca de la orilla del mar en una zona cercana al actual puerto deportivo. Esos manantiales no existen en la actualidad (2010) por haber sido cegados debido a las construcciones de la zona. Se cuenta incluso que esos manantiales brotaban dentro de la misma agua del mar dando al agua del Mediterráneo un curioso sabor a agua dulce.
